Joe Biden has once again come under scrutiny for his approach to Israel’s handling of Iran, particularly in light of the escalating tensions in the region.
On Wednesday, Biden reiterated his stance that any Israeli response to Iran’s recent ballistic missile attack must be “proportionate.”
This follows a similar pattern in which the administration appears to caution Israel more than it pressures Iran, which has continued its aggressive posture in the region.

Earlier this week, Iran launched a significant ballistic missile strike against Israel, and while Israel has the capability to retaliate and potentially strike at Iran’s nuclear facilities, Biden’s emphasis on a “proportionate” response is seen by many as an attempt to restrain Israel’s actions.
Biden says “no,” he does not support an attack on Iran’s nuclear sites by Israel.

Critics argue that this restraint could embolden Iran and its allies, weakening Israel’s position in defending itself against ongoing threats.
This isn’t the first time Biden has been seen as undermining Israel’s efforts.
During his administration, many have pointed to the policies that have supported or benefited Iran.
For instance, when Biden took office, he rolled back several of the sanctions on Iran that were imposed by his predecessor, President Donald Trump.
Those sanctions were part of Trump’s broader strategy to cripple Iran’s economy and limit its capacity to fund terrorist organizations like Hezbollah and Hamas.
Now, Biden is reportedly considering reimposing some sanctions on Iran, a move that critics see as an acknowledgment that Trump’s original approach may have been correct.

However, many argue that this shift is too little, too late.
The damage has already been done, and Iran’s aggressive actions, including its pursuit of nuclear capabilities, continue to destabilize the region. Reimposing sanctions, some argue, won’t be enough to reverse the momentum Iran has gained.
Remember: Joe Biden and Kamala Harris sent billions in sanctions relief to Iran.
They deliberately enriched this terrorist regime.

Adding to the pressure, Biden has been criticized for his overall handling of foreign policy and disaster response.
As tensions flared in the Middle East, Biden was also grappling with the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, which devastated parts of the southeastern U.S., particularly in Georgia.
Many noted that during critical moments of the storm and its immediate aftermath, Biden was vacationing at the beach in Delaware while Kamala Harris was attending fundraisers in California.
In a bid to address the criticism, Biden and Harris visited some of the hardest-hit areas in Georgia on Wednesday, but the response from many has been less than favorable.

This has raised concerns about the administration’s ability to manage both domestic crises and international threats effectively.
Adding to the challenges, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas noted that while there are currently enough funds to deal with immediate recovery efforts, the administration is running out of resources to handle additional disasters.
Mayorkas warned that there is a need for more funding from Congress to ensure future disaster responses can be adequately supported.
At the same time, the Biden-Harris administration has been criticized for allocating large sums of money to foreign aid and other international programs, while parts of the U.S. struggle with recovery.
For example, the Department of Homeland Security’s “Shelter and Services Program” is spending hundreds of millions of dollars on humanitarian services for non-citizen migrants after they are released by DHS, a move that has drawn significant backlash from those who believe the funds could be better spent addressing domestic needs.
As the Biden-Harris administration faces mounting criticism over its handling of foreign policy and domestic disasters, many are calling for a change in leadership.
With the 2024 election looming, voters will soon have the opportunity to decide whether they want to continue down the current path or opt for a different direction.
