SiriusXM host Megyn Kelly responded critically to remarks made by former First Lady Michelle Obama during a rally for Kamala Harris, where Obama addressed hesitant voters and called on men to take responsibility in supporting the Harris campaign.
Speaking on her show Monday, Kelly expressed her frustration over what she described as Obama’s consistent criticism of the United States, arguing that Obama owes much of her success to the country.
During her Saturday appearance at the Harris rally, Michelle Obama voiced concerns about voter hesitation, stressing the importance of participation in the upcoming election and encouraging men to step up.

Kelly reacted strongly to Obama’s comments, saying on The Megyn Kelly Show, “I’m so sick and tired of Michelle Obama whining about how racist and sexist America is. We made her rich, famous, and beloved beyond any measure.”
Kelly noted Obama’s personal wealth and properties in locations such as Martha’s Vineyard, Chicago, Washington, D.C., and Hawaii, emphasizing that these achievements would not have been possible without opportunities provided in the United States. She added, “All we want to hear you say is thank you. That’s it. That’s what we want to hear you say. Stop ripping on the country.”
The exchange comes as Kamala Harris faces challenges in securing support among male voters, a factor that has become increasingly significant as the gender gap in polling widens.
In a recent CBS News/YouGov poll, former President Donald Trump holds a nine-point lead over Harris among male voters, while Harris leads by twelve points among female voters.
The event Saturday also marks another attempt by Democrats to engage male voters, a demographic in which Trump has recently gained traction.
Earlier in October, Harris appeared with former President Barack Obama at a rally in Pennsylvania, another key swing state.
Obama, who has been vocal in his support of Harris, called out the importance of turnout, particularly highlighting black male voters, a group in which the Harris campaign has faced challenges.
However, Obama’s direct approach received criticism for its tone, as he urged male voters backstage to increase turnout numbers.

With just a week to go until Election Day, the focus on both male voter turnout and the tightening gap between Trump and Harris signals heightened efforts by both campaigns to consolidate support.
