The Pentagon is reportedly in turmoil as President-elect Donald Trump’s incoming administration prepares to remove senior military leaders who prioritized diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives over combat readiness.
According to sources, the move has sparked panic among some senior officers, with efforts underway to scrub DEI content from official military websites.
“It’s like a hornet’s nest has been kicked over,” one source told Breitbart News. “DEI pages are starting to disappear off the main websites. They’re being archived as we speak.”

Another source described a sense of urgency among military leaders to determine if they are on the list of those targeted for removal. “They are in panic mode,” the source said.
Executive Order in the Works
The Trump transition team is reportedly finalizing an executive order (EO) that would establish a panel to recommend the removal of senior military officers who have actively promoted DEI policies.
My money is on the “sources” telling the truth here…

A source familiar with the plan confirmed to Breitbart News that the draft EO is “definitely” heading to Trump’s desk, although it may still undergo revisions in consultation with incoming Pentagon leaders.
“This is for real. This [EO] has made the cut,” the source said. The EO’s primary focus is on reorienting military leadership toward traditional priorities, such as national security and combat readiness, rather than ideological agendas.
“The purpose of the EO is to restore the military leadership focus on keeping the country safe and, when necessary, fighting the country’s wars,” the source said. “Not these extraneous factors like ‘white rage,’ gender identity, or other woke priorities that have impacted recruitment and retention.”

Identifying Key Personnel
The Trump transition team has begun consulting troop advocates to compile a list of senior officers who aggressively pushed DEI policies.
Among those assisting in this effort are retired Army whistleblowers Lt. Col. Pete “Doc” Chambers and Chief Warrant Officer 2 Samuel Shoemate.
Chambers, a 39-year Army veteran, retired after being instructed not to provide troops with informed consent about the COVID vaccine. Shoemate, known for his advocacy against woke policies, was previously investigated by military leadership for running a whistleblower website.
This has to be one of the best upgrades so far:

“They are interested full speed on DEI,” Shoemate told Breitbart News in a phone interview. “They want to lop off the head of the Marxist snake. And so that’s the primary criteria that I’m trying to focus on.”
Shoemate emphasized the distinction between officers who merely followed DEI directives and those who actively championed the policies, often retaliating against subordinates. “We’re looking for those who have aggressively pursued DEI policies, and then potentially been the worst about retaliation against troops,” he said.
Early Targets
Among the names reportedly being considered for removal is Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Charles “CQ” Brown, known for his vocal support of DEI initiatives.
Shoemate expressed confidence that Brown would be replaced under the Trump administration. “Trump’s taking out the chairman. That’s gonna happen,” Shoemate said.
According to sources, over a dozen names from the Navy alone are being reviewed, with additional names from the Air Force and Army expected to follow.
The list is also informed by the Declaration of Military Accountability, a document created by current and former service members.
A New Direction for the Military
The EO reflects a broader goal of reversing policies that critics say have undermined military effectiveness. Supporters of the initiative argue that a return to traditional values will strengthen recruitment, retention, and overall readiness in the armed forces.
Trump’s team is expected to move swiftly once the administration takes office, signaling a significant shift in U.S. military leadership.
