A post made on X claims that singers Lizzo and Lana Del Rey were engaged in a TikTok feud regarding the 2024 presidential election.

And just like that, a phony white bitch who tried to lead a mass murder Wiccan ritual against the president of the USA, publicly and violently attacked two prolific black artists who *thought* she was a friend for their political views- switches sides WITHOUT APOLOGIZING -… pic.twitter.com/Ieag5NdVnd

Verdict: False

Lizzo’s TikTok account does not contain this interaction. Lana Del Rey does not currently have a TikTok account.

Fact Check:

Social media users are claiming that Lizzo and Del Rey were engaged in a TikTok feud regarding the 2024 presidential election. These posts usually include a screenshot of a TikTok post that depicts Lizzo with a ‘Harris Walz’ hat. The screenshot contains a comment made by Del Rey that reads, “Trump all the way.” The screenshot shows that Lizzo made a reply comment that reads, “Bitch you married a grandpa with rabies and zero teeth.”

Text from the post’s caption reads, “a phony white bitch who tried to lead a mass murder Wiccan ritual against the president of the USA, publicly and violently attacked two prolific black artists who *thought* she was a friend for their political views- switches sides WITHOUT APOLOGIZING – thinking no one will notice.”

The claim is false. Lizzo’s TikTok account does not contain the referenced interaction. Lana Del Rey clarified that she does not currently have a TikTok account via a comment made on Instagram, according to Daily Mail. The comment reads, “I don’t think I have an official TikTok, other than the grants one sooooo.”(RELATED: Did Meghan Markle Say She Is Leaving US Due To Trump’s Reelection?)

The fabricated post may stem from a satirical X account. Satire account DropPopNet made a post on X that reads, “Lana Del Rey in new Instagram comments about her feud with Lizzo.” The post includes the fake screenshot of comment interactions between Lizzo and Del Rey.

DropPopNet’s bio clarifies that the account is a satire account. The bio reads, “Parody account, everything posted on the account is satirical and for humorous purposes, our posts are not meant to be taken seriously.”

Check Your Fact has reached out to Del Rey and Lizzo for comment.
