A new documentary titled Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy will be premiering on Peacock on January 14.

The 90-minute documentary, which released its trailer on Thursday, aims to explore the early years of Sean “Diddy” Combs, the renowned rapper and music mogul who is currently facing serious legal charges.

Sean “Diddy” Combs performs at the Bring It Home Midnight Rally held for Andrew Gillum at Florida A&M University’s Lawson Center in Tallahassee, Fla. the night before the 2018 midterm election Monday, Nov. 5, 2018. Famu Gillum Rally 110518 Ts 004

The documentary promises to provide an in-depth look at Combs’ rise to fame, with exclusive interviews from a variety of people connected to his past.

These include childhood friends, former bodyguards, former interns, and singer Al B. Sure!, who was also romantically linked to Combs’ late ex, Kim Porter.

The film seeks to examine the factors that helped shape the man behind Bad Boy Records, but it also delves into some darker allegations surrounding his personal life and career.

In the trailer for The Making of a Bad Boy, a man, whose voice is distorted to conceal his identity, makes serious claims about Combs’ behavior in the studio.

The individual states, “Any time a studio or any room is red, he’s making love and sex. Some of the girls who were in the room, for sure, they were underage.”

Another voice, that of an unidentified woman, adds, “They said they could ship me off and sell me to anyone.” A third woman, interviewed for the documentary, calls Combs “a monster,” further fueling the controversy.

Combs is currently in federal custody, awaiting trial on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. The charges come after his arrest on September 16.

The rapper’s legal troubles have been widely reported, with further allegations emerging in recent months.

After his arrest, rival rapper 50 Cent (Curtis Jackson) posted a sarcastic comment on Instagram, referencing the seizure of 1,000 bottles of lubricant and baby oil from Combs’ home by Homeland Security earlier this year.

These reports were followed by claims of “freak off” sex parties organized by Combs, where federal prosecutors allege women were coerced or threatened into performing grueling, hours-long sex acts.

In October, three men filed lawsuits accusing Combs of drugging and raping them.

The lawsuits allege that Combs spiked alcoholic drinks with drugs, rendering the victims unconscious, only for them to later wake up to find Combs allegedly assaulting them.

These accusations add to the growing list of legal challenges the music mogul is facing.

Combs’ legal team has vehemently denied the allegations, with his attorneys issuing a statement saying, “These complaints are full of lies. We will prove them false and seek sanctions against every unethical lawyer who filed fictional claims against him.”

The defense maintains that these are baseless accusations and that the rapper will clear his name in court.

The documentary, Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy, will explore the complex and controversial figure of Sean Combs, offering insights from both those who worked with him and those who claim to have witnessed unsettling behavior.

One woman featured in the trailer states, “I’ve witnessed everything…I think Sean Combs can get away with anything,” suggesting that the rapper’s influence and power allowed him to avoid consequences for his actions for years.

The documentary is set to premiere on January 14, 2025, and is expected to provide a deeper look into Combs’ rise to fame, the dark side of his personal life, and the ongoing legal battles that threaten to overshadow his legacy in the music industry.
