From the Plains to the Atlantic coast, the so-called bomb cyclone is set to dump heavy snow along a 1,500-mile stretch, including areas like New York City.

Experts predict that from this weekend into early next week, the central and eastern U.S. could see the first major snowstorm of the season, with snowfall expected to range from a modest dusting in some areas to a whopping 30 inches in others.

However, instead of focusing solely on the snow and ice, social media users couldn’t help but poke fun at the viral map, which bears an uncanny resemblance to a certain male anatomy.

Despite the laughs, AccuWeather’s predictions paint a serious picture for those in the storm’s path. Snowfall is expected to hit regions from western Nebraska to West Virginia, with 3 to 6 inches or more across a 1,000-mile span.

Areas in northern Kansas, southeastern Nebraska, and southern Ohio could see between 6 to 12 inches, while northeastern Kansas to west-central Illinois might experience totals as high as 30 inches.

Unfortunately for snow enthusiasts in New York City, the metro area is only expected to receive about an inch of snow, with slightly higher amounts just to the south. For travelers returning home after the holidays, the storm could cause significant delays and dangerous road conditions.

This isn’t the first time a weather map has drawn comparisons to something NSFW. Back in 2020, the BBC aired a forecast showing a storm model that also bore a striking resemblance to male anatomy, sparking similar reactions.
