Liz Cheney Gets Completely Shredded for 2 Straight Minutes on Live Television [WATCH]

Joe Biden’s decision to award Liz Cheney a prestigious medal has sparked intense criticism from conservative voices, including Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo and senior editor of The Federalist Mollie Hemingway.

In a recent segment, the two discussed Cheney’s controversial tenure as Vice Chair of the January 6 Committee, raising concerns about her alleged misconduct during the committee’s investigations.

Hemingway criticized Cheney’s handling of the January 6 investigation, accusing her of obstructing justice, tampering with evidence, and concealing information that could have exonerated former President Donald Trump.

“This award to Liz Cheney really is inappropriate,” Hemingway said. “This is a woman who was hand-selected by Nancy Pelosi to run a committee that was extremely one-sided. Liz Cheney, in the course of running this committee to supposedly investigate the January 6 incident at the Capitol, obstructed justice. She tampered with witnesses—we have lots of reason to believe she tampered with Cassidy Hutchinson’s legal representation.”

Hemingway further alleged that Cheney hid critical evidence about Trump’s actions leading up to January 6.

“She hid evidence that exonerated Donald Trump,” Hemingway said.

“One of the big things that Liz Cheney had said was that Donald Trump had not, in fact, sought a presence at the Capitol to protect people who were protesting. And she had evidence, when she conducted her interviews, that the Deputy Chief of Staff said he personally heard Donald Trump say that he thought 10,000 National Guard troops would be good, that he heard the Chief of Staff talk to the DC mayor, encouraging her to request those troops. But she hid that evidence—completely failed to release that evidence—until it only came out after Republicans took control of the House.”

When Bartiromo pressed Hemingway on whether Cheney’s actions could constitute legal wrongdoing, Hemingway suggested Cheney could be in significant legal trouble.

“I think the pardon is being sought by people who know what she did because she is in legal jeopardy,” Hemingway said. “At the very least, she should be investigated for this.”

Hemingway highlighted that Cheney’s role in the January 6 Committee aligned her with Democrats politically and strategically.

“The reason why she’s getting the award is because she helped Democrats campaign. They thought that she was helpful,” Hemingway said.

“You might remember that the Kamala Harris campaign had Liz Cheney out on the road. That was their closing message: if you vote for Kamala Harris, you’re going to have people like Liz Cheney handling our foreign policy.”

Hemingway also pointed out that Cheney’s actions have shifted unpopular neoconservative interventionist policies from the Republican Party to the Democratic Party, a move she suggested has ironically benefited Republicans politically.

“Liz Cheney, as awful as her behavior has been in these last few years, did give Republicans this gift of taking her very unpopular, politically toxic neocon interventionism and moving it from the Republican Party now firmly into the Democrat Party,” Hemingway said. “And so for that, Republicans can be thankful.”
