In a bizarre security breach, a man was arrested after scaling a wall at former President Donald Trump’s prestigious Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida.

As reported by The Daly Mail, the trespasser, identified as 32-year-old Bijan Arceo, was apprehended on Wednesday, just two days after Trump’s inauguration in Washington, D.C.

According to reports, Arceo, a former real estate agent, was spotted climbing over the wall near the north service gate along South Ocean Boulevard. Despite the prominently displayed “No Trespassing” signs surrounding the property, Arceo brazenly made his way onto the grounds.

Palm Beach police arrived swiftly to assist U.S. Secret Service agents, who discovered the intruder inside the resort.

A spokesperson for the Secret Service emphasized the seriousness of the incident, stating, “While the incident had no impact on our protective operations, we take these matters extremely seriously.”

The spokesperson also expressed gratitude to the Palm Beach Police Department for their quick action and coordination in handling the situation.

Arceo now faces charges of trespassing with the intent to commit an offense. Authorities remain tight-lipped about his motives, but his actions are not the first to target the high-profile property.

This isn’t the first time Mar-a-Lago has faced security breaches.

Just months earlier, in November, a 39-year-old Chinese national, Zijie Li, was arrested after repeatedly attempting to bypass security at the estate. Li, who claimed he wanted to speak with Trump, was detained under the Baker Act, which allows individuals to be held involuntarily for mental health evaluation if they pose a danger to themselves or others.

Even after being released on bond and ordered to stay at least 500 feet away from Trump and Mar-a-Lago, Li tried again just days later. He attempted to enter the property as a passenger in a rideshare vehicle, leading to his arrest and a hefty $100,000 bond.

At the time of this week’s incident, Trump was not present at Mar-a-Lago. He has been busy in Washington, D.C., signing executive orders during his initial days as president. However, the intrusion raises questions about the lengths individuals are willing to go to breach security at Trump’s properties.
