The visit further solidified Trump’s connection with Nevada’s hospitality industry, a vital sector of the state’s economy.
During his speech, Trump reiterated his commitment to eliminating taxes on tips, a policy he introduced earlier in his campaign.
“I will be working with Congress to get a bill on my desk to cut taxes for American workers and small businesses and to keep my campaign promise of no tax on tips,” Trump announced during the event.

This is not the first time Trump has championed the policy.
At a campaign rally in Las Vegas in June, Trump promised to eliminate taxes on tips if reelected.
He later reinforced this pledge during a roundtable event in Michigan, emphasizing the importance of protecting workers’ earnings from unnecessary taxation.
Trump’s policy proposal aims to benefit workers in industries where tips make up a significant portion of income, such as hospitality and gaming.
By eliminating taxes on tips, Trump intends to increase take-home pay for millions of workers across the country.
The policy aligns with Trump’s broader economic agenda, which prioritizes reducing the tax burden on individuals and small businesses.
The enthusiastic reception he received in Las Vegas demonstrates his continued influence and connection with voters in Nevada and beyond.
