Maxine Waters Loses It Over Elon Musk Exposing Where American Taxpayer’s Money Goes [WATCH]

California Congresswoman Maxine Waters recently launched into a four-minute speech attacking both President Donald Trump and billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk during a Democratic Party rally.

The event was organized to protest Musk’s involvement with the U.S. Treasury Department, a move that has drawn criticism from some Democratic lawmakers.

During her speech, Waters accused Musk of acting without public consent and overstepping his authority.

“We have got to tell Elon Musk that nobody elected your ass. Nobody told you you could get all of our private information. Nobody told you you could be in charge of the payments of this country,” Waters said.

She went on to claim that Musk, who owns the social media platform X, is attempting to monopolize financial transactions in a way that benefits his own business ventures, particularly his space exploration initiatives.

“We have told you that you’ve made enough money off our government yourself, and now you want to take everybody else’s payroll and make sure that they don’t make the kind of money that you’ve made. Oh, you want to use our money to go to Mars,” Waters continued.

Shifting her focus to Trump, Waters alleged that both the former president and other billionaires are working to consolidate power over the nation’s political and economic structures.

“We’re in a crisis in this country because Trump and Elon Musk and the billionaires have decided they’re going to put us all in our place. They’re going to run this country. They’re going to make sure that they take over everything,” Waters said.

She then urged the audience to resist what she sees as a takeover by the wealthy elite.

“Are we going to let them do that? Are we going to let them run this government in the way that they can make even more money and so they won’t stop? It is so brazen every day, they’re taking new actions. They’re taking executive actions. Every day, they’re doing something,” she added.

The congresswoman’s remarks come as federal officials respond to scrutiny over Musk’s financial technology company DOGE being granted access to the U.S. Treasury system.

On Tuesday, the Treasury Department assured the public that federal spending would continue without disruption and emphasized its commitment to maintaining the security of the national payments system.

“Treasury has no higher obligation than managing the government’s finances on behalf of the American people, and its payments system is critical to that process,” said Jonathan Blum, a legislative affairs official at the Treasury Department.

Officials have announced a review process aimed at improving the accuracy of payments to government entities and the general public, though no specific details have been provided regarding Musk’s role in the system.

Waters’ speech is the latest in a series of criticisms from Democratic lawmakers targeting Musk, who has become a frequent political lightning rod due to his influence in both the tech and financial sectors.
