Former Obama Staffers Begrudgingly Admit Trump Is Reshaping Government [WATCH]

It’s not often that you hear former Obama staffers admit that Trump is getting things done. But that’s exactly what happened on a recent episode of Pod Save America, where the so-called “Obama Bros” couldn’t help but acknowledge that Trump is moving fast and shaking things up, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.

Even more amusing? They regret not implementing something like what Elon Musk is doing with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

These are the same Democrats who spent years pushing bloated bureaucracy and big government.

Yet, now that Trump and Musk are proving that things can actually be streamlined, they’re suddenly realizing, “Oh, we could have done that?” It’s a little late for that epiphany, guys.

The New York Post reported that former Obama aides, who now run the Pod Save America podcast, admitted they should have made similar moves to what Trump is doing with DOGE.

The department’s initiatives to cut federal waste and boost efficiency are making waves, and apparently, even hardcore Democrats are taking notice.

Jon Lovett, a former speechwriter for Obama, sounded downright bitter when he said:

“Honestly, some of this is pretty annoying because it’s some of the stuff we should’ve done. We didn’t know you could do some of this.”

His co-host, Jon Favreau, who was also a top Obama advisor, chimed in:

“We all know that government is slow. We all know government can be inefficient. We all know that the bureaucracy can be bloated. We all worked in the fu**ing White House. We tried to reorganize the government. We tried to find efficiency. It’s hard to do.”

Translation? They had no idea how to fix anything, and now they’re watching Trump and Musk show them how it’s done.

What Trump and Musk are doing with DOGE is nothing short of revolutionary. While Democrats whine about “government efficiency” as an abstract concept, these two are actually making it happen.

With the left in full meltdown mode over every move Trump makes, it’s interesting to see even some of their own admit that his methods work. Of course, instead of giving credit where it’s due, the Obama Bros are busy complaining that they didn’t think of it first.

The reality is simple: Democrats had years to fix Washington’s mess, and they didn’t. Now, Trump and Musk are getting it done. No wonder the left is panicking.
