Officials confirmed that all passengers and crew members aboard the aircraft had been accounted for.
The flight, identified as Delta Flight 4819, departed from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport at approximately 11:47 a.m. before arriving in Toronto.
Images and video posted online showed the aircraft, a Mitsubishi CRJ-900LR, flipped upside down on the snow-covered runway.

According to CP24, at least eight people sustained injuries, though the severity of those injuries has not yet been confirmed.
Emergency personnel were seen responding to the scene shortly after the crash.
The incident occurred following a weekend winter storm that brought nearly nine inches of snowfall to the Toronto area.
Airport crews had been working throughout Sunday night to clear key runways and ensure safe landings and departures.

Toronto Pearson International Airport acknowledged the situation, stating in a brief message that emergency teams were handling an “incident” on the airfield.
