A leftist TikTok user openly called for the assassination of Elon Musk, but her unhinged rant quickly landed her on the radar of the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Acting U.S. Attorney Ed Martin of the District of Columbia responded directly after a video of the woman’s violent threats went viral.
As reported by The Independent Journal Review, the clip, originally posted by a TikTok user going by “sarahcroberts,” was later shared on X by the popular account Libs of TikTok.
In the footage, the woman not only called for Musk’s assassination but also brazenly admitted that she had not filed her taxes for eight years.

“I promised myself I would avoid the news,” she said before launching into her rant.
“But obviously, I haven’t. Here’s my one thought – I have many thoughts – Elon Musk,” she stated, before making a throat-cutting gesture.
That little outburst caught the attention of Martin, who swiftly responded on X with a no-nonsense reply:
“Duly noted. Thx for letting us know. We’ll put you in the system. Talk soon, M’am. #NoOneIsAboveTheLaw.”

Martin’s office has already been scrutinizing high-profile threats against Musk and others.
He previously opened investigations into Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer and Representative Robert Garcia for remarks that potentially incited violence against Musk, Supreme Court justices, and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

His latest response suggests that leftist radicals making violent threats online aren’t going to get a free pass.
The TikToker’s unhinged tirade continued as she doubled down on her call for violence.
“Like we need to X him, and by X, I mean formally known as assassination… and it’s a warning from the FBI is going to f**king show up, I don’t… arrest me,” she said. “You don’t have enough people to even investigate me at this point. I haven’t filed my taxes in like… eight years and yet no one’s come for me, so I’m going to f**king say it. Let’s assassinate some motherf**kers.”

Musk himself, never one to shy away from confrontation, also weighed in on the post. “Death threat and admission of multiple counts of tax fraud @EagleEdMartin,” he posted, tagging Martin directly.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office has already taken action in response to violent rhetoric targeting Musk and DOGE employees. Martin previously sent a Feb. 7 letter to Musk and DOGE CEO Steve Davis, vowing to investigate such threats.
He further noted in a Feb. 3 statement that efforts to target DOGE employees might have broken federal law.
DOGE, which was established by President Donald Trump via executive order on Jan. 20, has reportedly identified at least $55 billion in savings. Clearly, the agency’s efforts to cut waste and inefficiency have struck a nerve with the left, prompting extreme reactions from its more unhinged supporters.
While the U.S. Attorney’s Office has not yet provided further comment, Martin’s swift response indicates that law enforcement is taking these threats seriously. Perhaps the TikTok radical should have spent more time handling her unpaid taxes instead of making criminal threats online.
