Another leftist reporter learned the hard way that trying to trap President Trump with a loaded question is a fool’s errand.
During a White House briefing on Tuesday, Trump swiftly put a media hack in his place after a laughable attempt at a “gotcha” moment.
As reported by The Gateway Pundit, Trump signed a memo revoking the security clearances of employees at Covington & Burling, a D.C. law firm that recently handed former special counsel Jack Smith over $100,000 in pro bono legal services.

Among those affected by the move were Peter Koski, the former deputy chief of the Justice Department’s public integrity section, and Lanny Breuer, a Covington vice chair who previously headed the DOJ’s criminal division under Barack Obama.
Breuer is the same guy who recruited Smith in 2010 to lead the DOJ’s Public Integrity Section. In other words, a lot of swamp creatures saw their security access revoked.
While Trump was signing the memo, along with additional executive orders, a left-wing reporter took the opportunity to try and corner him. The so-called journalist demanded Trump answer concerns about his supposed “targeting” of individuals through executive orders.

Maybe the reporter forgot exactly who he was speaking to and what Smith and his allies tried to do to him.

“Mr. President, what do you say to people worrying that targeting an individual firm or individuals, who you know, aren’t Jack Smith for his action?” the reporter asked, clearly hoping to catch Trump off guard.
But in classic Trump fashion, the 47th and current President of the United States wasted no time in shutting him down. Trump shot back:
“Excuse me, I’ve been targeted for four years…So you don’t tell me about targeting. I was the target of corrupt politicians for four years and then four years after that. So don’t talk to me about targeting.”

Any fair-minded person with a shred of honesty could have predicted how that question would play out. But instead, America’s so-called journalists continue proving they’re some of the most unprepared and biased propagandists in the world.
The state of modern journalism is a joke, and moments like this only further expose the media’s complete lack of credibility.
