By now you all know how absurdly propagandistic the Pravda Media have become, but sometimes the propaganda rises to the absurd level of a Babylon Bee parody. This is one of those times.
As you know, Elon Musk and therefore Tesla have been showered with hate, and Elon Musk himself has been the subject of constant death threats. I believe those threats are genuine, and that he is in danger.
This ABC story is an example of that fact, but ABC is more concerned–as all media are–bowing down to the religion of transgenderism that instead of rightly emphasizing the level of danger that mindless leftists, and the increasingly dangerous and radical alphabet movement, they must first kiss the ass of the perpetrator.
“Woman.” That is no woman, and the inclusion of the photo in the graphic shows–I think–that even ABC employees know that it is no woman.
Why do they persist is pushing these fictions? Simple: it is in the rules for journalists, the wide-followed AP Stylebook, which sets the standards for how things are discussed. Generally speaking, if it is the stylebook then that is how things will be covered.
That’s so weird that AP implies it sticks by historical names when it’s done exactly the opposite for the past 10 yrs virtually every other time it has come up.
Historically?
It’s “Ft. Benning” but AP adopted Ft. Moore.
It’s “The Washington Redskins” but AP didn’t stick by that… https://t.co/jfAVynkws8— Sharyl Attkisson 🕵️♂️💼🥋 (@SharylAttkisson) February 16, 2025

Historically?
It’s “Ft. Benning” but AP adopted Ft. Moore.
It’s “The Washington Redskins” but AP didn’t stick by that when the name was changed to “Commanders.”
It’s “illegal immigrant/alien” but AP says not to use those terms.
It’s “a baby boy” or “a baby girl” but AP uses the inaccurate phrase: “sex assigned at birth.”
It’s “he” for a male, but AP says that can now be “she” or “they” if somebody so chooses.
It’s “committed suicide” but AP weirdly says to avoid that phrase.
It’s “homeless” but AP changed it to “people experiencing homelessness.”
The fact is, many of us know that AP was hijacked by special interests years ago. They understood that when they can gain control of key sources of information, it impacts a wide range of the population; in this case, almost all of the media who continue to blindly and without thought follow AP style, ignorant to the notion that it’s become a propaganda tool.
On my TV show, Full Measure, where I’m managing editor, we have no problem with those we interview using terms of propaganda and advocacy, but as for ourselves, when reporting the news, we strive to use language that is journalistic and accurate.
This fact, among others, is the real reason why Trump and company are at war with the Associated Press. As the unofficial speech police for all journalists, the Associated Press decides how subjects are covered. The AP, to a great extent, determines the ideological bent of stories by controlling how they are covered. They also, in many cases, provide all the data in the stories or even write them for others.
Fox News @FoxNews , were you infiltrated by the NSA? That is clearly a man. https://t.co/Mx3qMwRXeh pic.twitter.com/9WQCIlm6Nq

Because of this, the ideological capture of the Associated Press enforces a near unanimity within the media ecosystem. While the New York Times largely determines and signals to others the preferred Narrative™, the Associated Press acts as an enforcer for how stories are covered, leading to absurdities such as this photo and headline.
It’s been clear for a while that right leaning institutions need to abandon the AP stylebook and a new guide should be created. Professional standards generate credibility. Take the best parts AP established years ago and jettison the left-wing social engineering nonsense. https://t.co/glf2ZdGWTP

I can’t be certain, but the more I thought of it the more it seems like there are some people buried within the Pravda Media undermining the Narrative™ through exposing the contradictions between what is said and what is true. If the headline didn’t include the photo, you would just think that the perp was a woman. When you see the photo, you know you are being gaslit.
Perhaps I am wrong on that point; it is conceivable that everybody in journalism is ideologically captured, but I have a sneaking suspicion that there is some “malicious compliance” going on here.
