Ashley Biden’s nonprofit, Women’s Wellness Spa(ce), is facing an IRS complaint over its failure to report a $250,000 donation from the Archewell Foundation, the charitable organization founded by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The National Legal and Policy Center (NLPC) has referred the case to the IRS, requesting an investigation into why the donation was not included in the group’s 2023 financial disclosures.
The NLPC’s complaint raises concerns over the organization’s tax filings, specifically the 2023 Form 990, which only reported total receipts of $170,296.

The missing $250,000 donation, which was made in 2023, was not accounted for in the reported financials.

“This large contribution raised eyebrows because of the political implications of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s attempt to ingratiate themselves with President Biden and his family,” the complaint states.

“But more importantly, the $250,000 cash grant made in 2023 was not reported on Ashley Biden’s group’s 2023 Form 990, which only reported receiving a total of $170,296 that year.
A full audit of Ashley Biden’s group is warranted to determine where the $250,000 cash grant was deposited and its disposition.”
The NLPC is calling for a full IRS audit of Women’s Wellness Spa(ce) and has urged investigators to depose Ashley Biden regarding the missing funds.
The group is also asking the IRS to assess any civil or criminal penalties, noting that Ashley Biden signed the tax form under penalty of perjury.
In addition to concerns over the unreported donation, the NLPC’s complaint highlights potential discrepancies in Ashley Biden’s reported work hours and salary.
According to the organization’s tax filings, Biden claimed to work 40 hours per week at a wage of $12.75 per hour, earning $511 weekly. However, the NLPC has questioned the accuracy of those reported work hours.
“While Ms. Biden’s pay is low for her educational and work experience in her field, NLPC believes that her reported 40-hour workweek may be exaggerated since during the latter half of 2023, she was engaged in politically related and other activities, including foreign travel with her mother,” the complaint states.
The NLPC’s concerns suggest that Biden may have been involved in other activities that conflicted with the time commitment reported on the nonprofit’s filings.
The scrutiny surrounding Ashley Biden’s nonprofit adds to ongoing concerns about financial transparency within the Biden family.
This latest controversy follows years of questions about Hunter Biden’s international business dealings and tax issues.
The IRS investigation, if pursued, could lead to further legal and financial consequences for Women’s Wellness Spa(ce) and its leadership.
Given the high-profile nature of the Biden family, the case is expected to draw attention from lawmakers and watchdog groups focused on nonprofit accountability.
As of now, neither Ashley Biden nor the Archewell Foundation has issued a statement regarding the complaint.
The IRS has yet to confirm whether it will formally investigate the matter.
