“Why Are Folks Fighting About Gang Members Being Sent Away?” [WATCH]

Radio host Charlamagne Tha God isn’t exactly known for backing conservative policies, but even he had to scratch his head at the left’s outrage over President Donald Trump deporting violent gang members, as reported by The Independent Journal Review.

During a segment on The Breakfast Club on Tuesday, Charlamagne openly wondered why anyone would fight to keep members of the ruthless Tren de Aragua (TdA) gang in the U.S.

His comments followed a federal judge’s attempt to halt deportation flights carrying TdA members to El Salvador after President Trump exercised his authority under the Alien Enemies Act. U.S. District Judge James Boasberg issued an injunction on Saturday, demanding the administration turn the planes around.

But as it turns out, El Salvador wasn’t about to welcome them back with open arms.

“This [is] why I want to know more when it comes to the deportations. Because deporting illegal immigrants who have committed crimes, I understand that. So why are folks fighting about gang members being sent away?”

That’s a question every American should be asking. The left constantly claims to be the party of law and order, yet when it comes to deporting violent criminals, they suddenly cry foul. Charlamagne pointed out that energy would be better spent on other cases.

“Like, there are some other deportation cases, I’m sure they could be fighting about, like folks who’ve been in this country for a long time, not committing no crimes, paying taxes, but have gotten caught up in the process,” he added.

“Those are folks they should be fighting for. Why are they raising hell about a gang being deported?”

Good question. But predictably, Senate Democrats rushed to defend the criminal element. On Monday, a group of them released a statement condemning Trump’s use of the Alien Enemies Act.

“Let’s be clear: we are not at war, and immigrants are not invading our country. Furthermore, courts determine whether people have broken the law—not a president acting alone, and not immigration agents picking and choosing who gets imprisoned or deported … These protections are there to help ensure U.S. citizens aren’t wrongfully deported, or people who haven’t committed a crime aren’t wrongfully punished.”

Apparently, deporting gangsters who terrorize communities is now an affront to democracy.

President Trump wasted no time taking action in his second term, signing an executive order on day one that classified cartels and criminal gangs, including TdA, as foreign terrorist organizations.

Border Czar Tom Homan praised Trump’s decision, calling it a “game changer” for national security.

Homan slammed the judge’s ruling, questioning why anyone would want to bring criminals back onto American soil.

“President Trump, by proclamation, invoked the authorities of [the] Alien Enemies Act. Which he has a right to do and it’s a game changer and we removed over 200 violent criminals from the United States. Just not TdA, but also MS-13. The actions of President Trump made this country safer. Every criminal alien, every criminal public safety threat and national security threat removed from [the] country makes this country safer.”

Fortunately, El Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele confirmed that his country received 238 TdA members and 23 MS-13 members, two of whom were known ringleaders.

It’s a simple equation—fewer criminals mean safer streets. But for some reason, the left refuses to do the math.
