Attorney General Pam Bondi announced on Monday that federal charges have been filed against Cooper Frederick in connection with the firebombing of a Tesla dealership in Loveland, Colorado, on March 7.

Bondi emphasized the severity of the crime and the Department of Justice’s commitment to pursuing those responsible for such attacks.

“I’ve made it clear, if you take part in the wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla properties, we will find you, arrest you, and put you behind bars,” Bondi said in her statement.

“Today, I’m proud to announce that the Department of Justice has unsealed federal charges against another Tesla attacker.”

The firebombing, which took place at a Tesla dealership in Loveland, Colorado, was part of a series of attacks against Tesla properties.

Bondi stressed that such acts of domestic terrorism pose a grave threat to public safety.

“All of these cases are a serious threat to public safety, therefore there will be no negotiating,” she said. “We are seeking 20 years in prison.”

The arrest of Cooper Frederick was made possible through the collaborative efforts of law enforcement agencies, with the FBI playing a crucial role in the investigation.

The defendant was apprehended in Plano, Texas, after a thorough investigation into the incident.

“Thanks to the great investigative work by the FBI, the defendant was arrested in Plano, Texas,” Bondi noted.

Bondi issued a stern warning to others involved in similar acts of domestic terrorism.

“Let this be a warning. You can run, but you cannot hide. Justice is coming,” she declared, reaffirming her determination to hold those responsible accountable.
