President Trump signed an executive order imposing “reciprocal tariffs” on foreign imports following a Rose Garden speech yesterday, proclaiming a “Liberation Day” for Americans. The President debuted a sign during the speech comparing the tariffs between the United States and its trading partners. The tariffs levied by the U.S. are about half those fixed on the U.S. by foreign nations.
