Townhall Media’s Documentary on Trump’s Arc of Triumph Is Here

When the higher-ups asked me to review Townhall Media’s new mini-documentary about Trump’s first 100 days in office, I was a bit skeptical that I would be able to write with enthusiasm. 

After all, the 100 days thing is a bit tiresome and artificial, and we have all written the retrospectives, so what more is there to say?

Boy, was I wrong! I watched the whole thing because it did something that no column or series of stories can do: it reminded me of the remarkable arc of redemption that put Trump back into the White House and of why Trump’s election was a transformative moment in our nation’s history. 

The documentary isn’t about Trump’s first 100 days of his second term; it is about what Trump’s election means for you and me, the country, and about this moment in history. You can watch it here now.

Townhall’s description is perfect:

President Donald J. Trump walked away in 2020 with unfinished business. His time in the White House was paused — not over. And everyone, including his critics, knew it. Over the course of the next four years, they didn’t just try to stop Trump from ever assuming the Office of the Presidency again, they tried to take him out. But Trump didn’t stay down. He stood. Over the past few months, we have been stuck in the weeds–every day is dominated by political trench warfare, and an energized left contests every inch of progress. Rather than focusing on the minutia of these battles, Townhall Media pulls back and tells the story of Trump’s triumph and, most importantly, why we are determined to support the president as he calls us to FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT! 

It’s not any particular battle that matters; it is winning the war for our civilization. 

I was left inspired, even reinvigorated. 

I do have one criticism, though. I think the title misleads. It shouldn’t be called “Trump’s Triumph: First 100 Days.” 

It should be called “Trump’s Triumph, And Ours.”
