New Poll Spells Utter Disaster For Democrat Party

There’s a rule that remains to be broken: If you think you’ve arrived at the end of history, you haven’t. Liberals entered the 2010s buoyed by fifty years of progressive political victories. But they made a fatal reasoning error in assuming the trend would hold forever. “My dog died yesterday. Which was weird, because he’s never done that before.” 

But dogs die, and so do ideologies. Peak Woke collapsed in such spectacular fashion that it took the foundation of modern progressive politics along with it. Equality of outcome, as mandated by Civil Rights era legislature, is under attack by President Donald Trump’s administration. We’ve entered the “Post-Progressive Political Era,” as Eric Kaufmann dubbed our times in a recent Wall Street Journal op-ed. No one can say with certainty what comes next, but it won’t look like an Apple ad. The Democratic Party is ill-prepared to contend with seismic cultural shifts underway.
