Whoopi Goldberg weighed in on growing speculation about Joe Biden’s health during a segment on The View this week, expressing skepticism over accusations that Biden’s staff concealed the extent of his mental and physical decline while in office.

The conversation on the ABC talk show followed the recent public announcement of Biden’s prostate cancer diagnosis.

Last week, Biden’s office confirmed that the 82-year-old was diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer.

According to a statement provided to CNN and CBS, the diagnosis came after Biden underwent an examination for a prostate nodule amid reports of increasing urinary symptoms.

“On Friday he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with metastasis to the bone,” the statement read.

“While this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive which allows for effective management. The President and his family are reviewing treatment options with his physicians.”

As discussion of Biden’s health continues in the media and political circles, questions have been raised regarding how long staff members and advisers may have been aware of his condition and whether any effort was made to delay or obscure the news from the public.

Some critics have alleged that the former president’s inner circle covered up both cognitive and physical health issues.

Goldberg, however, pushed back on those claims.

“Now I say, for me — listen, he’s 83, so he’s a little stumbly, he’s a little rumbly,” she said during Tuesday’s broadcast.

“I can’t point to anything that he’s done, as president, that he did.”

Co-host Sara Haines interrupted, pointing out that Biden had launched a reelection campaign for a second term, while fellow co-host Sunny Hostin acknowledged the point.

Goldberg responded, “But — but I’m saying, I want — not you, but I want somebody to tell me, well, when did you know it was bad? If you knew, why did you wait?”
