Republican strategists have been blunt in their assessment of the damage.

“Does anybody believe what Enron says?” asked New Hampshire-based strategist Dave Carney.

“This is a catastrophic ethical line that they’ve crossed. Even their biggest defenders in the media have turned on them.”

Carney added that trust in Democratic leadership has eroded and will require a complete overhaul.

“No one is going to believe what Democrats say post-collapse.”

The White House press corps has also turned its focus on Dr. Kevin O’Connor, Biden’s physician, after reports surfaced that Biden went over a decade without a cancer screening or a cognitive test.

The absence of regular health evaluations during Biden’s presidency has intensified demands for transparency.

GOP strategist Douglas Heye said the issue isn’t going away.

“The concerns over Biden’s health as president were very real and deeper than most know, and questions of how we were being governed are legitimate,” Heye stated.

“If Democrats want to move past this and try to rebuild the trust they squandered, they should want to have this resolved as soon as possible.”

Ford O’Connell, another Republican strategist, said the scandal impacts national security.

While some Democratic operatives acknowledge the damage, others insist the party must refocus and rebuild.

“Democrats will restore accountability when we produce candidates voters can trust,” one Democratic strategist told reporters anonymously.

In the meantime, the Republican Party has continued to advance its legislative agenda, passing President Trump’s budget reconciliation bill while keeping attention focused on the White House health scandal.

House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-LA) tied the issue to broader questions of credibility, stating, “The same people who have been telling you that President Biden’s health was just fine are now telling you all these other things about millionaires and billionaires.”

Strategist John Feehery said the problem goes deeper than Biden.

“They have abandoned the white working class, which used to be the heart of their party,” he said.

Ohio-based GOP strategist Jai Chabria suggested Democrats will need more than a candidate to recover in 2028.

“The mainstream media was the Democratic Party’s biggest weapon,” he said.

“That was their biggest way to get a message out, and when that has been discredited, what do they do?”
