In an Instagram post on Saturday, O’Donnell proudly displayed her noticeably thinner frame while performing on stage.
Alongside the photo, she admitted that she had lost a significant amount of weight, crediting the weight loss drug Mounjaro for the transformation.
“I can’t believe this is me now,” she wrote, accompanying the image with the hashtags “#mounjaro,” “#weightloss,” and “#bodydismorphia.”
Mounjaro is a prescription medication used to treat type 2 diabetes and assist in weight loss.

Mounjaro is administered through weekly injections in areas like the thigh, stomach, or arm, and it works by affecting certain hormones to regulate blood sugar and curb appetite.
Several high-profile celebrities, including Elon Musk, Meghan Trainor, and Kyle Richards, have publicly acknowledged using Mounjaro in recent months, making it a topic of growing conversation.
O’Donnell’s post further fuels the ongoing discussion about these weight loss medications and their impact on the public’s health and lifestyle.
A Glimpse Into O’Donnell’s Weight Loss Journey
O’Donnell first began sharing details about her weight loss journey earlier this year in a TikTok video.
In March, she opened up about how she had been using Mounjaro as part of her efforts to manage her diabetes. “I’ve lost more weight. I am on Mounjaro for my diabetes and one of the side effects is you lose weight,” she revealed in the video.
But it wasn’t just the medication that led to her weight loss.

O’Donnell also attributed part of her success to a shift in her lifestyle.
“It’s also because I had a chef for over two years in Los Angeles and I don’t have a chef now. It’s me cooking for Clay and me,” she shared, referring to her 12-year-old child, Clay, who moved to Ireland with her at the beginning of the year.
O’Donnell went on to explain that after relocating to Dublin, she had to buy new clothes that fit her better, a reflection of her weight loss. She even confessed to being “shocked” by her transformation.
“I’m one of those people who always had a weight issue and now that I’m a size large — instead of an XL or a XXL — I find it shocking,” O’Donnell admitted. “I really do. I find it completely shocking.”
Her words echoed the reality many individuals face when undergoing significant physical changes. For O’Donnell, the loss of weight was a mixture of medical intervention and a newfound commitment to her health.
Prescribed Mounjaro and Changes in Lifestyle
In an earlier interview from January 2023, O’Donnell revealed that she had been prescribed both Mounjaro and Repatha by her doctor just two months prior.
She noted that within that short period, she was already beginning to see noticeable results. “One I do every other week and one I do once a week,” she explained.
She also discussed making dietary changes, notably reducing her sugar intake, which she found to be an essential part of her weight loss regimen.
Additionally, O’Donnell focused on drinking more water and staying more active, all of which contributed to her transformation.

“My appetite has decreased significantly. It’s probably the meds,” she said. “And I’m trying to move more. So, all those things combined, that’s what it is.”
While the medication played a key role, O’Donnell emphasized that her lifestyle changes, like healthier eating and increased physical activity, were also important factors in her success.
A New Life in Ireland
In addition to her physical changes, O’Donnell also reflected on her decision to leave the U.S. and start a new chapter in Ireland.
Moving to a new country isn’t easy, and O’Donnell acknowledged that the decision was a difficult one for her and her family.
“It’s not easy to move to another country, and we really felt as a family this was the safest and best thing for us to do,” she said in a TikTok video.
