ROOKE: Trump’s Top California Lawyer Made Huge Announcement About LA Riot

President Trump and his administration have made several arrests to help quell the anti-ICE riots that are on their sixth consecutive day of taking over Los Angeles.

On Monday, FOX LA was reporting live from the ground when video cameras captured a truck of people unloading and passing out what looked like thousands of dollars of professional riot gear to violent activists, in the form of bionic face shields. These masks help protesters protect themselves from police crowd control gas, which significantly affects law enforcement’s ability to put an end to the violence.

U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California Bill Essayli announced this morning that the FBI’s Los Angeles branch has arrested Alejandro Theodoro Orellana on the charge of Conspiracy to Commit Civil Disorders (18 USC 371) for his part in distributing face shields to suspected rioters.

Orellana is an alleged member of the Brown Berets, “a radical Latino paramilitary group that are currently embedded in cities across the United States,” according to RANN. (Sign up for Mary Rooke’s weekly newsletter here!)

Joshua Steinman, a former military officer who served during Trump’s first term on the National Security Council as Deputy Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Cyber, believes that Orellana is an example of the foreign sabotage teams that were allowed in under the Biden administration.

The reality is that Americans have no idea how many foreign actors Biden allowed into the country during his presidency. And if Orellana is one of them, Trump just made the U.S. much safer. But even if he isn’t, he is a part of a dangerous sect of violent activists who are aiding and abetting the lawlessness happening in our country. It’s one thing to protest against mass deportations peacefully, and it’s an entirely different action to actively prevent law enforcement from doing their jobs. Doing the latter should result in arrests. And Orellana just found out what it means to have a real leader in charge of the U.S.

Trump has been very intentional in his comments about these riots. Peacefully protest all you want, but the moment you take part in the violence destroying our communities, then the Justice Department will step in to make sure you pay the price for breaking the law.
