A man seen in a widely circulated video laughing at a black woman during an anti-ICE protest in New York City has been identified as Trevor Britvec, a Black Lives Matter activist who previously received a six-figure settlement from the city following his involvement in the 2020 protests.

The video, which has spread across social media platforms, shows a group of demonstrators blocking a roadway during an anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement protest.

In the clip, a black woman attempts to drive through a blocked street to get to work but is prevented by a crowd of mostly white protesters.

One of the men seen smirking and mocking the woman has now been identified as Britvec.

Demonstrations have been reported in multiple major cities, including New York, Philadelphia, and Chicago, with organizers calling for the abolition of ICE and an end to federal immigration enforcement.

The man identified as Britvec gained attention during the summer of 2020 for his involvement in Black Lives Matter demonstrations.

According to public records and media reports, Britvec received a financial settlement from the city of New York in connection with alleged mistreatment by police during those protests.

So the “oh no not work” guy who was blocking a single mother from getting to her job had previously won a $115k settlement from the city because his ‘civil rights’ were allegedly violated by the NYPD during a previous BLM protest.

This Could Be the Most Important Video Gun Owners Watch All Year

In the recent video, the group of protesters appears to dismiss the woman’s pleas to be allowed through the blockade.

When she tells them she needs to get to work, members of the group are heard telling her that “immigrant families” are more important.

Witnesses reported that the group laughed at her frustration as she tried to explain that she was trying to provide for her family.

Just watched 2 white liberals stop traffic and tell a mother who was begging to go to work, that illegals and their children are more important.

I then asked them how they felt stopping a black woman from getting to work

They both laughed in our facespic.twitter.com/XA1zItqIHq

The demonstrations have received financial backing from various sources, including Walmart heiress Christy Walton, who paid for full-page ads in The New York Times encouraging people to mobilize.

Law enforcement officials in New York have not confirmed whether any arrests were made in connection with the road-blocking incident, but public safety concerns continue to grow as more protests are expected throughout the weekend.

The protests have sparked renewed debate over the impact of civil disobedience on working-class communities.

While protesters argue that their actions are in defense of immigrant rights, critics point to incidents like the one in New York as evidence that the demonstrations are disrupting everyday life for citizens uninvolved in the political dispute.
