Footage captured by reporters with the Daily Caller shows young children being encouraged to participate in anti-Trump demonstrations over the weekend, including using vulgar language and engaging in symbolic acts of violence directed at the President during the nationwide “No Kings” protests.

The demonstrations, which occurred in multiple cities on Saturday, included events in Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, and Portland, Oregon.

Several of the protests escalated into riots, with violent incidents reported in multiple locations.

In Portland, rioters stormed a facility used by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), according to officials.

In Washington, D.C., one video recorded by a Daily Caller reporter showed a young child using a microphone to shout an obscenity about President Donald Trump before the child’s mother quickly removed the microphone.

The crowd surrounding the child laughed and applauded the moment.

In Los Angeles, another Daily Caller reporter documented a separate incident involving a piñata shaped like Trump.

A young girl was recorded striking the piñata with a stick while adults in the crowd cheered and encouraged the act.

The event took place in the same city where local officials had recently imposed a curfew following several days of anti-ICE rioting and property destruction.

The participation of children in political protests targeting President Trump, especially when involving vulgar language and simulated violence, has raised questions about the tactics used by some demonstrators.

In both D.C. and Los Angeles, the children appeared to be actively encouraged by adults in attendance to take part in the demonstrations.

The “No Kings” protest movement was organized in opposition to recent federal immigration enforcement actions and broader Trump administration policies.

While some demonstrations remained peaceful, many devolved into violence and vandalism.

Authorities in Los Angeles confirmed that local police had been coordinating with federal agencies after repeated confrontations near ICE facilities and federal buildings.

Over the weekend, federal agents were deployed to protect buildings and personnel as tensions escalated.

In addition to the child-involved incidents, federal law enforcement is continuing to investigate separate acts of violence committed during the protests.

On June 7, a man later identified by the FBI as Elpido Reyna was recorded throwing rocks at federal law enforcement vehicles in an incident caught on video and circulated on social media.

The FBI has since offered a $50,000 reward for information leading to Reyna’s arrest.

The protests follow a series of politically motivated incidents targeting President Trump, including two separate assassination attempts during the 2024 presidential campaign.

In July 2024, Trump was targeted at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

A second attempt occurred in September 2024 while the President was playing golf in Florida.

According to legal filings, the suspect in the September incident, Ryan Wesley Routh, expressed his intent to kill Trump in a written statement submitted as evidence.

Democratic leaders in cities like Los Angeles have publicly urged ICE to halt enforcement operations, arguing that the raids are impacting the local economy and community relationships.

Federal officials have maintained that ICE is operating within its legal mandate and have declined to suspend operations.

As of Monday, no charges have been filed in connection with the incidents involving children at the protests, but local law enforcement agencies in both Los Angeles and Washington, D.C., confirmed they are reviewing footage related to crowd behavior and potential child welfare concerns.

Federal agencies have advised law enforcement partners to remain on alert for additional protest-related violence or threats to federal personnel and property.
