Authorities in Chandler, Arizona, are investigating the drowning death of 3-year-old Trigg Kiser, the son of popular TikTok influencer Emilie Kiser, who has amassed millions of followers across social media platforms.
The incident occurred on May 12 at the family’s residence, as reported by The New York Post.
According to police records obtained by AZ Central, Trigg’s father, Brady Kiser, told investigators that he became “distracted” by the couple’s newborn son after allowing Trigg to play in the backyard.

During that time, the 3-year-old reportedly gained access to the family’s uncovered swimming pool and was found unresponsive several minutes later.
Brady Kiser stated he turned his back for “three to five” minutes before discovering Trigg floating in the pool. Emergency responders airlifted the child to Phoenix Children’s Hospital, where he was treated in critical condition for nearly a week. Trigg was pronounced dead on May 18.

Both Emilie and Brady Kiser told investigators that Trigg frequently played in the backyard and that the pool had a cover, which they did not use on that particular day.
Police are now seeking search warrants to obtain video surveillance from the family’s home to aid in the investigation.
The drowning occurred while Emilie Kiser was out with friends. In the days leading up to the incident, she posted a video on TikTok celebrating motherhood, featuring scenes of her family during emotional and joyful moments, including the birth of their youngest child.

Following the incident, the family faced heightened media scrutiny. Emilie Kiser has since filed a lawsuit against several Maricopa County agencies, seeking to block the public release of documents and footage related to her son’s death.
According to court filings, she has not reviewed any of the material and does not intend to view it.
Emilie Kiser has more than 3.1 million followers on TikTok and over 1 million on Instagram. Known for her family-oriented content and lifestyle videos, she has not publicly addressed the incident beyond legal filings.
The investigation into the drowning remains ongoing.
