E. Jean Carroll Rants About ‘REVENGE’ Plot on Donald Trump [WATCH]

Over a year after being awarded a combined $88 million in civil judgments against President Donald Trump, writer E. Jean Carroll has yet to receive any of the funds.

Still, Carroll is publicly outlining how she intends to use the money, telling MSNBC that her goal is to direct it toward causes that she believes will frustrate the president.

Appearing on MSNBC’s The Katie Phang Show this week, Carroll stated, “Where my pleasure comes is making him so p*ssed off he can’t think. We need to prick his little balloon constantly, and one of the ways to do that is to give his money to women’s reproductive rights.”

She continued: “To binding up the wounds of democracy, which he is destroying by the very instant that we’re sitting here. Shoring up voting rights — can you imagine how angry he takes this? It’s just so delicious thinking about how p*ssed off he’ll be, how angry that his own personal money is going to help women. Ah, heaven. Heaven. It’s the revenge that we all love.”

Carroll’s remarks come as she promotes a new book focused on her legal battles with Trump.

The comments follow a decision by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, which recently rejected Trump’s appeal in one of the cases — a $5 million defamation verdict issued in 2023. His remaining legal option would be to petition the U.S. Supreme Court.

Carroll, a former magazine columnist, first sued Trump in 2019, claiming he defamed her by denying her allegations of sexual assault.

While a jury rejected her rape allegation outright, it found Trump liable for defamation and battery, awarding Carroll $5 million in the initial 2023 case. A second defamation trial in 2024 resulted in an additional $83.3 million judgment against the president.

Carroll’s legal effort was backed financially by Reid Hoffman, the billionaire co-founder of LinkedIn and a longtime Democratic donor. Hoffman’s involvement drew scrutiny from legal observers and Trump’s legal team, who argued that Carroll’s suit was politically motivated.

Despite winning the judgments, Carroll has not yet collected any of the money.

Trump has continued to challenge the verdicts and maintains that the cases against him are politically driven.

Carroll’s stated plan to use the awarded funds to support political and ideological causes — including reproductive rights and voting access initiatives — has raised questions about the nature and intent behind the lawsuits.

Critics have pointed to Hoffman’s financial support and Carroll’s recent media appearances as evidence that the cases may have been driven by more than just reputational concerns.

Trump’s legal team has not commented on Carroll’s recent MSNBC interview, though his attorneys previously signaled that they would pursue every available legal avenue to overturn the verdicts.

The cases remain ongoing in the courts, with Trump’s legal counsel expected to decide soon whether to appeal to the Supreme Court in the $5 million case.

The larger $83 million defamation judgment, handed down in January 2024, is also subject to appeal.

Carroll has said she intends to continue speaking publicly about the lawsuits, both in media interviews and through her upcoming book.
