A Portland woman confronted anti-ICE and Antifa-affiliated protesters near a federal immigration facility late at night, expressing frustration with the group’s disruptive presence in a residential neighborhood.

The incident, which was captured on video and circulated online, occurred during an ongoing protest outside the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) building in Portland, Oregon.

The woman, who is seen using a cane, approached the demonstrators after midnight and asked them to stop making noise.

She told the group that their actions were disturbing residents who were trying to sleep. In the video, she can be heard telling the protesters, “You’re worse than ICE.”

Tensions quickly escalated as both sides exchanged heated words.

The woman criticized the group for disrupting the neighborhood, while some members of the protest responded with profanity.

At one point, after initial hesitation, protesters began shouting back at the woman, with one reportedly telling her to “shove her cane” in a vulgar reference.

The confrontation drew attention on social media and was later reported by multiple news outlets.

The protest outside the ICE facility is part of a broader series of demonstrations in Portland organized by left-wing groups, including Antifa and other anti-immigration enforcement activists.

Demonstrators have frequently targeted the ICE facility, calling for the end of immigration detention and deportation operations. In several cases, protesters have set up tents, blocked driveways, and disrupted operations at the site.

The ICE facility is located in a residential area, and residents have expressed growing concern over the impact of the protests on their quality of life.

Several people living in the area have contacted law enforcement and city officials to file complaints over noise, obstruction, and safety concerns.

The woman involved in the confrontation later posted about the incident on social media, saying she had contacted 911 to report the disturbance.

She added that the 911 operator told her other residents had also reported the protest.

“When I called 911 last night, the operator said other residents had also reported this terrorism. I ask you and your readers to please apply whatever pressure you can, we need the National Guard here at the Portland ICE center, we the people need help!” she wrote.

The Portland Police Bureau has not issued an official statement about the incident or whether any action was taken in response to the complaints filed by residents.

The video has since circulated widely online, with commentators noting the growing tension between Portland residents and demonstrators who have continued to occupy spaces near the ICE building.

The incident has renewed calls from some community members for local and state officials to take action to ensure public safety and restore order in residential neighborhoods affected by prolonged demonstrations.

As of Tuesday, no arrests have been reported in connection with the confrontation.

The protests around the ICE facility remain ongoing.
