Former MSNBC host Tiffany Cross melted down when Republican strategist Scott Jennings questioned her use of the term “concentration camps” Tuesday.
President Donald Trump made illegal immigration a priority in his second term after campaigning on the issue during the 2024 election, signing multiple executive orders when he took office on Jan. 20 to address the situation, particularly on the U.S.-Mexico border. “People want — people who are suffering right now, people who cannot pay their mortgage, people who have been separated from their families, people who are sitting in deportation camps, concentration camps, foreign and domestic, those people do not want to see people —” Cross said before Jennings interjected with, “That’s offensive to Jewish people.”

“No, it’s not. I’m Jewish and it is not offensive. It’s not — it’s not a death camp —” Democratic strategist Julie Roginsky claimed, before Jennings responded, “People do not — comparing that to the Holocaust is wild.”
Rioting spread to multiple cities after initially flaring up in Los Angeles following a June enforcement operation by United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). In Texas, there were two incidents where shots were fired at ICE or Border Patrol facilities since July 4, with ten people being charged with attempted murder in connection to the former incident.
“I honestly wish they were more offended by the actions of this administration… instead of my language,” Cross claimed. “They should focus on something more important than what I call it and focus more on what’s actually happening to people who are getting disappeared by a government agency. And none of us should ever normalize that, like it’s something rational to do. My point is, this entire asinine scene of people playing cartoons —”

ICE executed a search warrant Thursday at two California marijuana farms, rescuing at least ten minors, eight of whom were reportedly unaccompanied. The operation was met with violence, including one person who allegedly fired a pistol at the ICE agents.
