Republicans Offer Trump Perfect Opportunity To Blow Up His Legacy

Posterity will likely look upon President Donald Trump’s second term as defined by immigration. A vast and vocal portion of his base remains hopeful Trump will pursue policies of mass deportation and remigration. A few slimy Republicans present the president with a different path — an amnesty bill which would efface his entire legacy. And speed the United States towards ruin, for good measure. 

“I am sure that in life, everything is timing. And this is the perfect timing for this type of bill,” claims Republican Florida Rep. Maria Salazar, one of the authors of the so-called “DIGNITY Act of 2025.”
