Shocking New Footage Shows Illegal Alien Dump Accomplice After Shooting CBP Agent [WATCH]

Federal and local authorities have arrested two suspects in connection with a Saturday night shooting that left a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer critically injured in Manhattan.

The incident took place in Fort Washington Park, where the off-duty agent was shot in the face and arm following a confrontation with two individuals on a scooter.

Surveillance footage released by the Department of Homeland Security shows one of the suspects, identified as 21-year-old Miguel Francisco Mora Nunez, crawling away from the scene after sustaining gunshot wounds.

The other suspect, 22-year-old Christhian Aybar-Berroa, is seen riding off on the scooter, leaving Mora Nunez behind.

“One of the suspects DUMPS the body of his injured counterpart and flees,” the official Homeland Security account posted on X, sharing a 23-second clip of the incident.

“These individuals will face the full weight of the U.S. Justice System.”

Authorities said Mora Nunez was apprehended at a hospital where he had sought treatment for his injuries. Aybar-Berroa was arrested two days later on Monday.

Both individuals are now in federal custody and face a range of charges related to the attempted murder of a federal law enforcement officer.

The altercation reportedly began when the two suspects approached the 42-year-old CBP agent and a woman who were sitting on a rock in Fort Washington Park.

A verbal exchange quickly escalated into a physical struggle.

According to law enforcement officials, one of the suspects then fired a weapon, hitting the agent in both the face and the arm.

Despite his injuries, the agent returned fire, striking Mora Nunez three times.

Authorities stated that the agent drew his service weapon during the exchange.

The dramatic confrontation, including the aftermath, was captured on surveillance video later released by the Department of Homeland Security.

NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny noted that nearby officers were able to provide life-saving assistance to the wounded CBP agent because they were already in the vicinity responding to a separate mugging call.

According to Chief Kenny, the same suspects are believed to have committed a robbery just five minutes before the shooting.

They allegedly stole a woman’s cellphone in the same area, further linking them to a string of crimes that evening.

The incident has sparked renewed concern over violent encounters involving illegal aliens and the dangers facing law enforcement officers.

Both suspects are expected to face federal charges and will be prosecuted through the U.S. justice system.
