Trump Orders Much Needed Housekeeping Of America’s Cities

The euphemism treadmill is never busier than when regarding vagrants. Er, hobos. The homeless. The unhoused population.

Regardless, all of the above are the subject of one of President Donald Trump’s latest executive orders. The July 24 order, “Ending Crime and Disorder On America’s Streets,” takes aim at impediments to public safety. Those include: “endemic vagrancy, disorderly behavior,” “open illicit drug use,” violence, urban camping and squatting, and individuals with untreated, severe mental health conditions.
