Donald Trump Calls for the Prosecution of Kamala Harris [WATCH]

President Donald Trump has accused Kamala Harris and her 2024 presidential campaign of violating federal election laws by allegedly paying millions of dollars to celebrities, including Beyoncé, Oprah Winfrey, and Al Sharpton, in exchange for political endorsements.

Trump raised the allegations in a post on Truth Social, citing campaign finance records and media reports.

“I’m looking at the large amount of money owed by the Democrats, after the Presidential Election, and the fact that they admit to paying, probably illegally, Eleven Million Dollars to singer Beyoncé for an ENDORSEMENT (she never sang, not one note, and left the stage to a booing and angry audience!), Three Million Dollars for ‘expenses,’ to Oprah, Six Hundred Thousand Dollars to very low rated TV ‘anchor,’ Al Sharpton (a total lightweight!), and others to be named for doing, absolutely NOTHING!” Trump wrote in the post.

Trump continued by stating, “These ridiculous fees were incorrectly stated in the books and records.”

He then added, “YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PAY FOR AN ENDORSEMENT. IT IS TOTALLY ILLEGAL TO DO SO. Can you imagine what would happen if politicians started paying for people to endorse them. All hell would break out! Kamala, and all of those that received Endorsement money, BROKE THE LAW. They should all be prosecuted! Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

Reports from multiple outlets have called attention to the financial operations of Harris’s campaign, which ended in significant debt.

According to the Washington Examiner, the Harris campaign paid $1 million to Winfrey’s company on October 15.

Winfrey has denied that she received payment for her endorsement.

As reported by Breitbart News in November 2024, Winfrey appeared with Harris during a televised town hall in September and later at a Philadelphia rally the night before the election.

During the rally, Winfrey warned voters—particularly women—that failure to vote could result in losing future voting rights.

The Harris campaign has denied that Winfrey was paid to appear or endorse the candidate.

The Hill reported that while Harris’s campaign denied that Beyoncé was paid for an endorsement, Federal Election Commission filings showed that her production company received $165,000 from the campaign.

Additional financial records reveal that Harris’s campaign paid $500,000 to the National Action Network (NAN), a civil rights organization founded by Sharpton in 1991.

The payments were split into two transfers on September 5 and October 1.

On October 20, Sharpton hosted Harris on his MSNBC program PoliticsNation, where he asked what were described as “softball questions.”

In a separate Truth Social post from May 2024, Trump called for a full investigation into whether the Harris campaign used payments for celebrity endorsements disguised as entertainment or promotional services.

He also questioned how much Harris’s campaign paid musician Bruce Springsteen, who performed during the campaign, and whether he accepted compensation for his support.

“I am going to call for a major investigation into this matter,” Trump posted.

“Candidates aren’t allowed to pay for ENDORSEMENTS, which is what Kamala did, under the guise of paying for entertainment. In addition, this was a very expensive and desperate effort to artificially build up her sparse crowds.”

Harris’s 2024 presidential campaign raised over $1 billion but ended approximately $20 million in debt.

No federal agency has confirmed a formal investigation into the endorsement payment allegations.
