Activists with Arlington Democrats scrawled chalk messages outside the family home of White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller on Sunday, less than a week after the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
Video posted to X by Townhall’s Corey Iganamort shows activists writing phrases like “Miller is preying on families” and “Ask Katie Miller about trad-wife cosplay.” One woman is heard inviting Iganamort to join and offering him chalk, which he declined. Asked if the rhetoric was appropriate days after a political assassination, she replied, “Absolutely.”
Just four days after the political assassination of Charlie Kirk, @arlingtondems are “chalking” messages of hate towards @StephenM and @KatieMiller just blocks away from their home.

When Corey pressed the woman on whether the messages could incite violence, she snapped back, “Oh, shut up! No, not unless you’re insane. I mean, if you’re insane, anything could incite you.”
As he continued questioning, another activist accused Iganamort of harassment, saying, “I feel threatened by you! You are a tall man and are threatening us, and we feel unsafe,” before shoving him aside. The group then left the area without further comment. Later, Katie Miller posted a video to X showing herself hosing the chalk off the sidewalk.
“To the ‘Tolerant Left’ who spent their day trying to intimidate us in the house where we have three young children: We will not back down,” Miller wrote. “We will not cower in fear. We will double down. Always, For Charlie.”

The episode came weeks after Stephen Miller drew attention for confronting hecklers who taunted National Guard troops in Washington, D.C.
“We’re gonna dismantle those networks and we’re gonna prove that a city can serve for the law-abiding citizens who live here,” Miller said at the time. “We’re not gonna let the communists destroy a great American city, let alone the nation’s capital … We’re gonna ignore these stupid white hippies that all need to go home and take a nap because they are all over 90 years old.”
