“I thought the right was against cancel culture.” So say many members of the left amid a rash of Charlie Kirk-related firings. “Related” doing some Olympic-tier lifting. Most of the fired have celebrated Kirk’s death, suggested he deserved to be assassinated, or otherwise publicly spit on his grave.
The right has drawn their line in the sand: It is socially unacceptable to celebrate a political assassination. The left drew their own line many years ago.
