The Man Who Falsely Confessed to Killing Kirk Was Trying to Help Robinson Escape; UPDATE: Is a P@do, Too

You remember that guy who was hauled off by the police right after the Charlie Kirk shooting? 

You know, the old guy whose pants fell down? The one who “confessed” to the police that he shot Kirk as he lay dying?

It turns out that, while he did not shoot Kirk as we know or participate in the planning, he wanted to help Tyler Robinson escape and become a “martyr” for the cause. 

How did he know it wasn’t a mass shooter? How did he know it was over once Kirk was hit?

Zinn is a radical activist, and obviously, he was there to disrupt the Kirk event in the first place. He seized upon Kirk’s murder to step up his activism game by proudly announcing that he was the murderer. Unbelievable. 

OREM, Utah (KTVX) — The first man arrested in connection with the deadly shooting of Charlie Kirk yelled, “I shot him, now shoot me” immediately after the shooting in an attempt to help the shooter escape, according to newly filed documents.

George Zinn, 71, was taken into custody following the shooting, but he was later cleared on having any direct involvement with the shooting. He was arrested on suspicion of obstruction of justice.

Currently, investigators have a suspect in custody for the shooting. Tyler Robinson, 22, was arrested on September 11 after he told a family member that he was the one who shot and killed Charlie Kirk.

According to the affidavit of probable cause that was filed today, immediately after the shooting, Zinn allegedly walked up to a police officer and started yelling, “I shot him, now shoot me.” The officer could not see a weapon in his hands and placed him in handcuffs. The officer asked him where the gun was, and he reportedly said, “I am not going to tell you.”

As I wrote earlier today, one out of four very liberal people admits that they support political violence, and here is a perfect example. As the blood was draining out of Charlie Kirk’s body before his eyes, many decided to take the fall so that the revolutionary killer could escape.

Just as Luigi Mangione was turned into a leftist rock star and sex symbol, we saw before our eyes tens of thousands of leftists, including some of the most prominent voices in the movement, celebrate the assassination of a political figure who was making progress reaching out to young people and changing minds.

One of the more prominent liberal magazines is named “Jacobin,” after the French Revolutionaries who perpetrated “The Terror.” The most common liberal logo is the raised fist, and Antifa are the brownshirts of the radical left, and many liberals insist they do not exist.

For an idea, not an organization, they sure have “all the hallmarks” of an organization. The claim is absurd on its face that Antifa doesn’t exist. They say that to get plausible deniability. 

George Zinn is hardly the only person in that crowd to have celebrated Kirk’s death. We have seen tens of thousands of leftists, including teachers, professors, lawyers, judges, journalists, podcasters, nurses, and surgeons, expressing glee that Kirk was murdered, and many who put out hit lists of other conservatives who should be next. 

That was a sport on Bluesky, the favorite social media platform of all those objective journalists.

It now appears likely that, at the very least, Antifa and transgender individuals had prior knowledge of Kirk’s assassination, and Robinson expected help in escaping. The exact circumstances have yet to come out, but there are at least 7 people who posted online that something big was coming at the event. 

Aaron Sibarium at the Washington Free Beacon lays out the evidence we have so far that there was a conspiracy. He is a superb reporter. 

We should no longer be surprised that a radical leftist jumped at the chance of helping Robinson escape. Revolutionary violence it at the heart of leftism, and has been since the French Revolution. 

As I have pointed out before, the origin of the term “left” as a political description refers to the seating arrangements at the French National Assembly during the Revolution, where the radicals sat on the left side of the aisle. Major revolutionary movements since then have looked to the French Revolution as their guiding light. 

If we want to fight for our society, we first need to understand our opponents. Ordinary Democrats who remain committed to our political order and seek reform do not understand their allies. They think they are like them and truly believe that conservatives are dedicated to violence. 

Our job is to show them that the opposite is true.
