Randi Weingarten’s Pet Union Goes Full Communist Revolutionary

JoAnne Deborah Byron, AKA Assata Shakur, is rotting in Hell now that she has shed her mortal coil.

I don’t say that because I disagreed with her politics, although I think her politics were the product of a deranged ideology that has resulted in the murder of tens of millions of people, far exceeding the number of people who Adolf Hitler’s Nazi Party murdered. It’s much simpler than that: she was a prolife violent felon and murderer, and shot a New Jersey State Trooper in the back.

Unsurprisingly, the left loved her and has celebrated her revolutionary politics, and remained, until her death last week, delighted that she escaped prison and was given asylum in Cuba. As a full-blown Communist and Black Nationalist, she is the embodiment of the evil they wish would be visited upon all of us. 

Among the well-wishers was the Chicago Teachers Union, an affiliate of Randi Weingarten’s American Federation of Teachers, along with Zohran Mamdani’s Democratic Socialists of America and lots of other radical groups so popular with the liberals these days.

You may recall that the CTU strongly opposed schooling during the pandemic because forcing kids to go to school is racist.

That was in December 2020, long after it was known that keeping kids out of school was causing irreparable damage to kids. But then again, the CTU is so unconcerned with the well-being of students that they have among the worst education results in the known universe. Jane, Johnny, Jesus, and Mohammed can’t read or do math in Chicago, but since they are also incapable of reading the test results, they may never realize how they have been robbed of a future.

Brandon Johnson, the current Mayor of Chicago, is also a communist and is currently turning Chicago into an American version of Havana, where Shakur spent much of her life.

The CTU is just one of many tentacles in the Antifa/American communist movement that has taken over the 21st-century Democratic Party. More centrist Democrats may not embrace the tactics of the communist revolutionaries, but… There is always a but, and their solution to the problem of Antifa violence is to throw more money at their supporters in the murkier orbit of the violent communist movement.

Dear Chicago Teachers Union,

You are why teachers unions have a very bad reputation across the country. You obviously aren’t for the children, and you honor fugitives and criminals like JoAnne “Assata Shakur” Chesimard.

By the way, the reason you’re able to spread false info like this is because the majority of the kids you’re supposed to be teaching can’t read. Only 30% are at the national level in junior high school and only 22% through 11th grade. Suspiciously, though, you have a very high graduation rate, meaning you’re pushing a bunch of dumbasses out of your doors as “graduates.” You’re worse than the “Lean On Me” school before Joe Clark got there.

I’d be ashamed, but I’m more just glad I don’t live in Chicago. No wonder Brandon Johnson is one of you.

Well within that orbit is the American Federation of Teachers, whose president, Randi Weingarten, spends less time explicitly celebrating Shakur, Luigi Mangione, and other murderers. She prefers to associate herself with these revolutionaries and use her privileged position to rhetorically attack law enforcement and their backers, all while raking in cash that finds it way to left-wing organizations such as the grossly destructive Chicago Teachers Union. 

A terrorist who literally murdered someone is described simply as a “revolutionary” by The New York Times.

Democrats find these communists charming and useful, while tut-tutting at their violent tactics. They don’t always even do that, having explicitly allied themselves with Antifa and its attacks on ICE officers. Even after the multiple assassinations and attempted assassinations of law enforcement officers and innocent migrants, the Democratic Party leadership has kept up the drumbeat of rhetoric, comparing ICE to the Gestapo. 

Joanne Chesimard didn’t “fight for justice.” She murdered New Jersey State Trooper Werner Foerster in cold blood, then fled to Cuba to escape accountability. The FBI never stopped calling her what she was: a terrorist.

There is nothing remarkable, in itself, about high-level Democrats and parasites like Randi Weingarten embracing left-wing violence and blaming the Republicans for forcing them to commit it by being obstinate and refusing to hand over the country to them. It happens on every day ending in “y.”

But I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that many decent and more centrist liberals stick like glue to the Democrats who promote all this, and do so in the name of love and compassion.

Power may, as Mao said, come from the barrel of a gun, but few people ever said out loud that love and compassion do. Whatever centrists think of Trump’s policies, it blows my mind that, when forced to choose between Trump and assassins, they choose to associate with the latter.
