Kash Patel Gives Hate Group SPLC Their Walking Papers

It seems this is something that should have happened on Day 1 of the Trump administration, when the new president was busy with all those Sharpies.

But I realize we didn’t have an FBI director, and no one had had a chance to go digging into the years of collusion between the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) and their enforcement arm, buried in the bowels of the United States government.

Now that a little time has passed for people to unearth the treacherous skullduggery, the SPLC has, at long last, lost its ‘most favored dirty deeds doer’ hall pass to the inner sanctum of Washington power.

Oh, goody.

The FBI has confirmed that it severed all ties to the Southern Poverty Law Center, a far-left activist group that puts conservatives and Christians on a “hate map” along with Ku Klux Klan chapters. The “hate map” has inspired at least one terrorist attack against a conservative organization.

“The Southern Poverty Law Center long ago abandoned civil rights work and turned into a partisan smear machine,” FBI Director Kash Patel told The Daily Signal in a statement Friday. “Their so-called hate map has been used to defame mainstream Americans and even inspired violence.”

“That disgraceful record makes them unfit for any FBI partnership,” Patel added.

Started with the loftiest and most righteous of goals – tracking KKK klans and attacks – the human tools at the SPLC had morphed into a propaganda arm of virulent Leftist progressive Democrats. The group ruthlessly used their previously honestly earned civil rights clout to bludgeon and defame conservative, centrist groups and individuals who were perceived as threats to progressive ideological dominance.

Terrifyingly, thanks to that former sheen, their word condemning someone for or as ‘hateful’ was accepted – and manipulated – in a war against regular Americans. Prager U is a hate group. The SPLC cites Chloe Cole as an ‘anti-gender affirming activist’ to justify the list addition without mentioning that Chloe is herself a detransitioner who might just know what the hell she’s talking about.

The day before his brutal, public assassination, the man who willingly and openly engaged college students in respectful dialogue and his organization were added to the SPLC’s infamous ‘HateWatch Newsletter.’

Charlie Kirk and TPUSA had been added to the Hate Map in 2024, calling them a ‘violent force of hate.’

Neat trick, huh? Don’t think that didn’t have an impact on people’s lives, especially, say three years ago or so.

Stephen Miller’s group, America First Legal, has also got some ‘breaking news’ today concerning the SPLC and the government working cheek by jowl to destroy their fellow Americans and manipulate the system through intimidation and defamation during the Biden administration.

The SPLC has long bragged about its access to and oversized influence on federal law enforcement officials.

…The SPLC has tremendous impact inside and outside of law enforcement.

Then-SPLC President Margaret Huang bragged in a 2021 donor meeting that “many agencies in the new Biden administration” reached out to “solicit our expertise” to “help shape the policies that the new administration is adopting to counter the domestic terrorism threat.” That wasn’t hyperbole. The Justice Department received a briefing from the SPLC shortly after it added Moms for Liberty to the “hate map” in June 2023.

It’s given them an oversized sense of their own power and immunity. For example, here was an SPLC researcher earlier, trying to solicit the private information of whoever might be running the X account at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) so the group could then expose and dox that unfortunate individual.

This vile creature, this evil minion, was specifically targeting a government employee for doing their job.

 Seriously, she was. Bold as brass, out in front of God and everybody.
