Great job, Big Apple Dems. At least you tore the masks off … except for your Antifa brownshirts, of course.
New York City will hold its mayoral election in three weeks, and Democratic Socialist Zohran Mamdani looks to cruise to victory. A far-too-late effort to expose his radicalism has only dented his momentum, while Mamdani has offered soft deflections about statements made out of youthful passion. However, his current activities speak louder than his earlier words, including his choice for fundraising events — such as a 5K run on behalf of the UN agency that Hamas not only co-opted but used as subterfuge for its terrorism:

Mamdani had proudly posted an image of himself running the “New York City Gaza 5K” to raise money for the notorious UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) on Sunday.
The Big Apple mayoral frontrunner billed UNRWA as a benevolent organization that “delivers critical humanitarian aid and services to Palestinians in Gaza.”
Beege wrote about this yesterday as part of her post about Mrs. Mamdani’s grief over the death of Mr. FAFO. This deserves a closer look, though, because UNRWA didn’t deliver aid and services to Palestinians in Gaza as much as they delivered it to Hamas, which then used it to keep an iron grip on power in Gaza. But as the New York Post points out, the co-opting of UNRWA by Hamas went well beyond control of global aid coming into the territory. UNRWA literally housed terrorism and arms in Gaza:
Following the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas attack against Israel, multiple investigations found that several planners and participants in the massacre were on UNRWA’s payroll.
UNRWA later fired 10 of the 12 staff members allegedly involved in the attacks after being informed by Israel. The other two were confirmed to have died.
Over 10% of UNRWA’s main and senior education staff in the Gaza Strip were members of Hamas or the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, according to a November 2024 report from the Israeli non-profit organization IMPACT-se.
Hamas and PIJ stored missiles and weapons in UNRWA offices and schools. The IDF uncovered this as they invaded Gaza after October 7, exposing UNRWA’s utter corruption and cooperation with terrorism to the world. The Israelis refused to allow UNRWA to operate in or through their country after these exposures. One of Donald Trump’s first actions after taking office was to support Israel’s ban on UNRWA, noting that even the Biden administration had “raised concerns” about its partnership with Hamas in all phases of the terror network’s operations. As I wrote at the time:
“Raised concerns”? Yes, but that’s all that Biden’s team did. Hamas had so thoroughly infiltrated the UNRWA that a significant number of its employees were actually Hamas fighters. They used UNRWA offices for weapons storage and even as military operations centers. Even before this conflict erupted, Hamas had corrupted UNRWA’s supposed educational efforts to indoctrinate Gaza children with Jew-hatred propaganda that essentially formed children to become suicide bombers for Hamas.
Not only did Hamas use UNRWA for logistics and command functions, but they also controlled the aid flow into Gaza — and not just food, either. They used that to exert control over the populace by withholding resources from opponents while converting other aid into military use. The extensive tunnel system represents a massive misdirection of “humanitarian” aid under UNRWA’s auspices to military/terror purposes, which means UNRWA is largely responsible for Hamas’ dug-in status in Gaza. The UN empowered Hamas in every imaginable sense of that term, and its hands are covered in blood.
Now Mamdani wants to raise funds for an organization that partners with terrorists. Elise Stefanik is aghast, especially at Kathy Hochul for endorsing Mamdani:

Believe it or not, this actually gets worse. Guess who doesn’t want to give peace a chance? Mamdani’s Democratic Socialists of America condemned Donald Trump’s cease-fire deal because it didn’t kill enough Jooooos, or something:
The Democratic Socialists of America — the organization backing New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani — denounced the “conditional” cease-fire deal between Israel and Hamas and called for continued resistance against the Jewish state in a statement released Monday.
The DSA declaration titled “Until Palestinian Liberation” came days after Israel and Hamas agreed to halt fighting and begin exchanging hostages and prisoners under a US- and Arab-brokered deal.
The far-left group said the truce “will not end Israel’s assault on the Palestinian people or the theft and occupation of Palestinian lands,” describing it as a “conditional cease-fire” that “does not wash the hands of the ruling class that … continued to fuel and arm genocide while stoking regional war.”
While acknowledging “the relief that may be afforded to Palestinians under the agreement in humanitarian assistance and cessation of Israeli military operations,” the DSA said it harbors “no illusions that Israel will honor any negotiated agreement that preserves Palestinian life or self-determination.”
If this looks like a moral inversion to you, DSA explains it later in the statement:
The 85,000-member socialist organization said it supports “the end of Israel’s colonization and occupation of all Arab lands,” “equality,” and “the right of all refugees to return to their homes and properties.”
The DSA — Mamdani’s own party — is advocating for the destruction of Israel. This is just a workshopped version of “from the river to the sea.” They claim Israel is on “Arab lands,” even though Jews predate Arabs in that part of the world by at least three millennia. The Arabs are the colonizers of the Levant and North Africa, not the Jews, who are the only people in all of these regions that both live on the same land and worship the same deity as their ancestors did 5,000 years ago.
This isn’t about colonizers or occupation. It’s about anti-Semitism and hatred for Western civilization. That is the foundation on which Zohran Mamdani is running, literally in this case. And New York City voters are about to validate that by making Mamdani mayor.
Good luck with your upcoming capital collapse, Big Apple voters. And when you start to demand federal support for the FO you will get from your FA, just remember the sentiments of Gerald Ford 50 years ago.
