“Doctor Who” actress Frances Barber said she’s gained new respect for President Donald Trump after his role in brokering the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.

“I had TDS and I’m now eating my words,” she wrote, clarifying in the replies that “TDS” stood for “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”

Barber paired her post with an image thanking Trump for helping secure the release of hostages.
She said she was “deeply moved” by the development in a separate post Sunday.
Israeli officials confirmed Monday that all surviving hostages held in Gaza were freed after more than two years in captivity.

The prisoner exchange marked a major breakthrough in the region. Hamas released the final 20 living hostages in exchange for Israel freeing 2,000 Palestinian prisoners — a key phase of the 20-point peace plan aimed at ending the conflict and rebuilding Gaza.
President Donald Trump was credited with helping broker the deal, leveraging his diplomatic ties to bring both sides to the table. Israeli officials said four of the 28 presumed dead hostages have also been returned.
