It’s Bizarre, but Democrats Are Arguing That Trump Is Senile

Many Democrats are still denying that there was anything wrong with Joe Biden’s mental acuity, but these geniuses in gerontocracy are all over X and Bluesky insisting that Trump is demonstrably losing it. 

Yes, the same Donald Trump who is zipping around the world ending wars and proto-wars, making trade deals with country after country, cleaning up the immigration disaster, and spending countless hours jousting with the media. 

Trump probably spends more time jawing with the media in a week than Joe Biden did in his entire term. Biden didn’t even meet with his top aides, who would go out and insist that Biden is doing calculus while standing on his head and reading Homer in the original Greek. 

WATCH: Ian Sams, one of Joe Biden’s spokespersons, met with him only TWICE in over TWO YEARS.

Then he would go on live television and say he interacted with him EVERY SINGLE DAY.

It’s bizarre, if for no other reason than they think they can be taken seriously after their years of lies about Joe Biden’s mental acuity.

Liberal influencers with millions of followers are creating fake videos—not cheap fakes, but actual fakes—claiming that even Republicans are talking about Trump’s mental decline.

My favorite, though, is Gavin Newsom, who has made Trump’s cognitive decline a theme he keeps hitting on. 

Gavin Newsom says that he never saw any sign at all of cognitive decline in Joe Biden. Newsom is also now saying that Trump is in cognitive and physical decline.

The Democrats tried to go this direction for a bit during the campaign, but they dropped the meme for a while. But now it is back with a vengeance.

It’s not exactly a message that will resonate with the average American, but apparently, it works with the truly Trump-deranged out there who are hungering for something—anything—to say about Trump that is negative.

If you turn the issue around and focus not on Trump’s cognitive ability, which is not really in question, and instead focus on the people asking these questions, you see something interesting: these people are incapable of thinking logically and evaluating evidence. They flail mentally. 

That doesn’t mean they are senile. I don’t think you could call even Joy Behar, who is older than Trump by a good bit (she is 83!), senile. She certainly seems all there. She isn’t senile. She is simply incapable of logical thought, and always has been. She’s your crazy aunt, not your relative with Alzheimer’s. 

Trump derangement is real, not just a meme. People see what they want to see, whether it is Biden’s sharpness or Trump’s decline.
