Security Blocks Hasan Piker From VIP Section At Zohran Mamdani Election Party

Left-wing Twitch streamer Hasan Piker was denied access to the upstairs VIP section at Democratic New York Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani’s election party Tuesday, video shows.

The clip shows a staffer telling Piker he wasn’t on the upstsairs list as he stands with a small group near a staircase at the event. A streamer-focused account, “yeet” (@Awk20000), shared the clip about an hour after major outlets declared Mamdani the winner of New York City’s mayoral election. “I do not have you for the upstairs list,” the staffer tells Piker.

“OK,” Piker says. “So — so, we can’t go upstairs? … Damn.”

Piker — one of the platform’s most-watched political commentators — has figured prominently in the race after Mamdani faced sustained criticism for engaging with the influencer despite Piker’s past “America deserved 9/11” remark. The debate over that association flared repeatedly in recent weeks, including during the mayoral debates.

After some deliberation with staffers in the first clip, Piker addressed the denial in a second video — presumably filmed downstairs.

“We have no motion,” he told viewers. “Uh, we’re out. We’re done. We’re washed.”

“Probably getting kicked out within the next fifteen minutes,” the cameraman interjected.

“Most likely. Most likely,” Piker said. “We’ll be escorted. And, uh, yeah. No drink tickets. No drink tickets. No bitches. No drink tickets; no bitches.”

Piker is widely accused of animal abuse after several clips appeared to show him activating a shock collar on his dog Kaya, prompting responses from PETA and Vice President JD Vance. He has denied the allegations.
