Women For Gun Rights Fights in Massachusetts State House

Like it or not, there are people who simply don’t care about some of our opinions on gun laws. They know what we’ll say, they’ve already dismissed us, and they don’t care. When I say “some of our,” though, I’m not necessarily talking about our opinions that they don’t care about so much as who has the opinion.

If you’re a guy, particularly a white guy, the anti-gun Democrats don’t care about your opinion as much as literally any other group’s. That’s why groups like the Pink Pistols, the National African-American Rifle Association, and similar organizations are so important. They represent a voice for gun rights from demographics that most anti-gun politicians listen to.

Another demographic they pay attention to is women, and Women for Gun Rights made their voices heard via testimony in the Massachusetts State House earlier this week.

A strong contingent of ladies from Women for Gun Rights (WGR) made their voices heard at the Massachusetts State House on October 31, 2025, testifying in defense of Second Amendment rights during a public hearing on more than 40 firearm-related bills. Among those bills being considered are measures (H. 2618 and S. 1692) to repeal the largest expansion of firearm regulations in Massachusetts history enacted in 2024.

“We were there to raise our voices as women, as responsible citizens, as defenders of freedom,” said Kerrie Ann Auclair, Massachusetts State Director for Women for Gun Rights. “When women stand together, informed and empowered, we change the conversation. We showed up because laws like this don’t make our communities safer; education, responsibility, and empowerment do. Women have the right to protect themselves and their loved ones, and that’s what truly builds safer communities.”

Eight women spoke, and another dozen submitted written testimony.

Kerrie, who I know to also be part of the Gun Owners Action League there in Massachusetts, knows what she’s talking about with gun rights. I’ve been blessed to be on at least one podcast with her, and she knows her stuff. She’s a great voice for gun rights in the Bay State, so I’m glad she was part of it.

And the truth is that it’s a lot harder for anti-gun lawmakers to dismiss the concerns of American women when it comes to guns, even if they might want to.

Gun rights are women’s rights. Let’s understand that here and now.

Restraining orders against violent partners are just pieces of paper, and no matter what feminists and other activists try to tell you, men and women are not physically equal. Guns, however, even the playing field, both against violent partners and violent criminals.

Women need gun rights, and states like Massachusetts need to wake up to this fact.

Women for Gun Rights is one way to try that, and I applaud their efforts. I support them fully, and I urge you to do so as well. Every woman I’ve met who was part of this effort has been a staunch defender of the Second Amendment and a fantastic ambassador for our rights.

Folks, this is the future of gun rights. All of these allies are just that, allies, and we need to respect them as such.

For these ladies, though, that’s ridiculously easy.

Editor’s Note: The Schumer Shutdown is here. Rather than put the American people first, Chuck Schumer and the radical Democrats forced a government shutdown for healthcare for illegals. They own this.
