Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign spent close to $50,000 in Puerto Rico between late June and September, according to third-quarter Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings that detail tens of thousands of dollars in expenditures on luxury lodging, high-end dining, and a $23,000 “venue rental” at the same arena where she was seen attending a Bad Bunny concert on August 10, as reported by Fox News.

Social media videos from the August trip show Ocasio-Cortez visiting a housing development in San Juan, where she criticized gentrification.

Additional footage showed her later that night dancing in box seats at Bad Bunny’s show alongside Rep. Nydia Velázquez.

The concert was part of Bad Bunny’s 31-show “Residency” tour at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, also known as “El Choli,” a venue regularly attended by celebrities including LeBron James, Iggy Azalea, Penélope Cruz, and Austin Butler.

FEC filings show Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign spent $15,489.77 on lodging at two luxury hotels in San Juan.

Payments to Hotel Palacio Provincial included charges of $680.52 on July 28, $1,507.26 on August 29, and $9,440.79 on September 29.

Another payment of $3,861.20 went to Hotel El Convento on August 25. Hotel El Convento owns the Palacio Provincial property.

The campaign also spent $10,743.13 on meals and catering across two dates—August 25 and September 29—at high-end establishments including Cocina Abierta, Cocina al Fondo, and Verde Mesa, according to the filings.

Additionally, Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign spent more than $23,000 on “Venue Rental” at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, with payments recorded on June 24 and August 25.

The venue is the same location where she was seen at the Bad Bunny concert on August 10. Fox News Digital reported it could not confirm whether the payments represented one booking or multiple events.

In a statement to Fox News Digital, Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign manager Oliver Hidalgo-Wohlleben said the congresswoman “regularly travels to Puerto Rico to support local causes and host events that require both staff and security.”

He added that she “is deeply proud of her investment in grassroots organizing and will continue to be active in advocating for both people on the island and the millions of Puerto Ricans in the diaspora.”

The filings also show Ocasio-Cortez continued to incur significant campaign expenses at upscale hotels and restaurants within the United States.

Her third-quarter report listed nearly $5,000 spent at Hotel Vermont in Burlington, following more than $1,600 recorded there in second-quarter filings.

The campaign also spent nearly $2,000 at the Thompson Central Park hotel in New York City and close to $3,000 at the Arlo Williamsburg hotel in Brooklyn.

Ocasio-Cortez’s filings further list thousands of dollars spent at high-end restaurants, including a $6,300 bill at Ama in Washington, D.C. Her campaign also spent $4,500 at Mr. Ding-a-ling Ice Cream in Latham, New York, and $4,400 on catering from Washington, D.C.–area executive chef Caleb Jang.

Other restaurants included El Secreto De Rosita in Washington, Hen of the Wood in Vermont, Central Park Boathouse, and Mottley Kitchen in the Bronx. Combined, those meals totaled more than $7,000.
