Country singer Megan Moroney spent Christmas away from cold weather this year, sharing photos from a beach getaway as fans continue to anticipate her upcoming concert tour, as reported by Fox News.

The 28-year-old artist posted a series of images on Instagram during the holiday, offering a glimpse into her Christmas vacation. The photos featured ocean views and moments from what appeared to be a tropical destination, marking a departure from a traditional winter holiday setting.

In one image, Moroney is shown lying on the sand wearing a red-and-pink bikini, paired with a white-and-pink hat pulled down over her face.

Other photos in the carousel included a black-and-white shot of Moroney with wet hair, seemingly taken on a boat in the ocean, along with images of a Christmas tree and a group photo on the beach with loved ones.

In the group photo, Moroney is seen wearing a pink Santa hat.

Fans filled the comments section with holiday messages and references to her tour, which went on sale earlier this month.

Several commenters referenced upcoming concert dates and expressed excitement about seeing Moroney perform live.

Moroney, who is known for songs such as “Tennessee Orange” and “I’m Not Pretty,” has experienced significant career momentum over the past year.

In an interview with People magazine in November, she reflected on a banner year that included tying for the most nominations at the Country Music Association Awards in September.

During that interview, Moroney discussed the artists who inspire her, naming Taylor Swift at the top of the list.

She said she admires Swift’s ability to release multiple albums with distinct sounds and noted that meeting Swift remains on her “bucket list.”

“The way that she’s handled all the business side of things is something that I’ve learned from her, so I’d like to thank her — and maybe get some drinks or something,” Moroney said.

While drawing inspiration from Swift’s career, Moroney has also leaned into classic country influences.

She told People that while touring in support of her 2024 album, Am I Okay?, she modeled aspects of her onstage style after Dolly Parton, frequently wearing white cowboy boots and blue jeweled outfits.

“Anytime I ask myself in the mirror, ‘Is this too much?’ I’m like, ‘No. Dolly would do it,’” Moroney said.

Moroney first gained widespread attention in 2021 through social media while she was still in college. Her breakout single, “Tennessee Orange,” was released in 2022 and helped launch her into the mainstream country music scene.

Her debut album, Lucky, followed in 2023 and earned strong critical and commercial response.

She built on that success with Am I Okay? in 2024, an album that continued to explore themes of heartbreak and self-reflection.

The personal nature of her songwriting has fueled public curiosity about her private life, a topic Moroney addressed in an interview with Fox News Digital in July 2024.

“I think I’ve never been more dialed in with my career than I am now,” she said. “I really don’t have time for a relationship, and I think it’s reflected in my album.”

Moroney has previously been linked to fellow country artist Morgan Wallen. She addressed that speculation during a July 2024 appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, saying the two met in 2020 and were friends.

“It was never a relationship,” Moroney said, adding, “We were friends for a long time. We were not just friends. And now we’re friends.”

As Moroney prepares to return to the road, her holiday posts offered fans a brief look at downtime before another busy year in music.
