Megyn Kelly Endorses Candace Owens ‘Investigation,’ And Calls Nick Fuentes ‘Very Smart’

Well, we can add Megyn Kelly to the insane clown posse. 

I think we all saw this coming, although I held out hope that Megyn was defending Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens more out of personal loyalty than in sympathy with their flirtation with increasingly unhinged and radical ideology. 

My hopes have been dashed. 

Kelly: “I am sick of this ********! I am allowed to have questions about what if, anyone, aligned with Israel or from Israel might have had to do with Charlie’s death.”

She’s gone, folks. Stop giving her the benefit of the doubt.

No sane person believes that Israel had anything to do with Charlie Kirk’s assassination, if for no other reason than they have their hands full trying to kill actual members of Hamas who have sworn to kill all the Jews in Israel and to take over their country. 

Not to mention the fact that Israel is a bit more sophisticated than hiring a furry-loving assassin to shoot Kirk at a university in front of the world. This is the country that spent the better part of a year plotting out the pager attack on Hizbollah. I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t send a mentally-ill crazy man with a bolt-action rifle to take a potshot at Kirk.

Kelly is being fundamentally dishonest when she pulls out the “they are trying to cancel me” for backing Owens’ credibility or because she retains her friendship with Owens and Tucker Carlson. What matters is her implicit endorsement of their bats**t crazy theories and associations with actual Nazis.

While Kelly didn’t exactly endorse Fuentes’ most racist comments, she insists that she isn’t in favor of the tactics he’s using to make his points—she does explicitly endorse his intelligence and perspicacity. 

It’s the same tactic that I often criticize when Democrats say things like “I don’t endorse violence, but…” It’s a sly way to distance oneself from something that repels people while simultaneously endorsing what lies beneath it.

Kelly is now taking Nicholas Maduro’s side, again pulling the same tactic in reverse. “Sure, Maduro is a narco-terrorist, but he is a sovereign narco-terrorist who can send gangs here.

She keeps walking up to the line of endorsing the worst people. Jews control the media, you see. Apparently, that is why we are forced to cancel actual Nazis like Nick Fuentes and hide the fact that Israel is plotting to assassinate Charlie Kirk.

It’s disturbing that this turns out to be a good way to make money and an effective way to increase your relevance in a hyper-polarized political environment.

Challenging “the Narrative” is a good thing, but only because “The Narrative” is often an assault on the truth. If the commonly accepted view happens to be right, challenging it is not an act of courage, but exactly the opposite. Yes, men did land on the moon. Yes, flying planes into skyscrapers can, in fact, bring them down if they are designed as the World Trade Center was. And no, Israel did not assassinate Charlie Kirk. 

“Just asking questions,” when the questions are absurd and are posed for no other reason than to create hatred, is evil. 

Rejecting Nick Fuentes should be easy. Scoffing at Candace Owens’ insane musings should be easy.

Megyn Kelly is not being victimized, as she suggests. She is being chastised for choosing to promote dangerous and nutty theories.
