A Gateway Pundit and LindellTV reporter said she was pushed by a man believed to be part of a congressional security detail while attempting to question a member of Congress following a January 6-related hearing on Capitol Hill, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.
Cara Castronuova, a reporter affiliated with The Gateway Pundit and LindellTV, was involved in the incident after a hearing held on Wednesday by the House Select Subcommittee on January 6.
The hearing, titled “Examining the Investigation into the DNC and RNC Pipe Bombs,” was the panel’s first hearing of the year and took place at the U.S. Capitol.
According to Castronuova, a man who appeared to be part of Rep. Jasmine Crockett’s security detail pushed her as she attempted to question the Texas Democrat following the hearing.
Video of the interaction circulated on social media later that day.

Crockett serves as a ranking Democratic member on the newly formed Select Subcommittee on January 6.
The panel is chaired by Rep. Barry Loudermilk, a Republican from Georgia, and is tasked with reviewing unresolved issues surrounding the January 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol, including the placement of pipe bombs near the headquarters of the Democratic and Republican National Committees.
The hearing featured testimony related to the ongoing investigation into the individual or individuals responsible for the pipe bombs.

The Select Subcommittee on January 6 includes Republican members appointed by Speaker Mike Johnson: Loudermilk, Rep. Morgan Griffith of Virginia, Rep. Troy Nehls of Texas, and Higgins.
Democratic members appointed by House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries include Rep. Eric Swalwell of California, Crockett, and Rep. Jared Moskowitz of Florida, with Raskin serving in an advisory capacity.
The Gateway Pundit reported that Castronuova distributed a 78-page criminal referral document to several Republican members of Congress related to Boyland’s death.
The outlet also published contact information for multiple lawmakers, including Loudermilk and Rep. Jim Jordan, encouraging readers to request additional hearings.
The incident involving Castronuova and the unidentified man occurred outside the hearing room and did not disrupt official proceedings. No statement had been issued by Crockett’s office regarding the interaction as of publication.
