Border Czar Tom Homan issued a blunt warning this week to left-wing groups he says are funding and coordinating attacks on Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and operations, vowing that accountability is coming as federal authorities intensify enforcement efforts, as reported by The New York Post.
Homan delivered the remarks near the end of a news conference in Minnesota, where he has been on the ground since late Monday at the request of President Trump.
Speaking to reporters in Minneapolis, Homan said significant progress has already been made in just a few days.

“I’ve been on the ground less than three full days,” Homan said.
“I’m staying until the problem’s gone, but we’ve made a lot of progress, a lot of progress last few days.”
Homan framed his trip as a focused effort to restore law and order following a series of disruptions, protests, and threats targeting ICE agents and federal operations in the state. He made clear that his presence was not symbolic.
“I didn’t come to Minnesota for photo ops or headlines,” Homan said. “I came here to seek solutions, and that’s what we’re going to do, and we’ve come a long way.”

According to Homan, federal officials are now zeroing in not only on individuals directly involved in attacks or interference with ICE, but also on the organizations and financial networks supporting those actions.
Near the conclusion of the briefing, Homan warned that groups on the far left who are backing or coordinating such efforts should expect consequences.
“Justice is coming,” he said.
Homan also confirmed that he has held discussions with Minnesota Democratic Gov. Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey during his visit.
While he did not detail the substance of those conversations, Homan emphasized that his focus remains on operational results rather than political theater.
The border czar’s comments come amid heightened tensions in Minnesota, where ICE operations have faced organized resistance, including protests and efforts to disrupt enforcement activity.
Federal officials have repeatedly warned that such actions place agents, local law enforcement, and civilians at risk.
Homan’s trip to Minnesota is part of a broader push by the Trump administration to reinforce immigration enforcement and address what officials describe as coordinated attempts to obstruct federal law enforcement.
Administration officials have said that attacks on ICE agents will be treated as serious criminal matters, particularly when evidence shows organized funding or planning.
While Homan declined to name specific groups under investigation, his remarks signaled that federal authorities are moving beyond street-level incidents and toward those directing and financing them.
“I’m staying until the problem’s gone,” Homan reiterated, underscoring that his presence in Minnesota would continue as long as necessary.
The warning marked one of Homan’s strongest public statements to date regarding left-wing involvement in anti-ICE activity, reinforcing the administration’s position that immigration enforcement operations will proceed and that those who interfere — directly or indirectly — will face legal consequences.
